As another happy Sonic.net user, I'll second those sentiments. I'm sure AT&T and Comcast have people working overtime to figure out a way to crush them, as they have most of the other small ISP's in this area. The fact that Sonic has navigated these shark-infested waters while operating with integrity as they continue to grow is pretty amazing. It proves that you can make money while doing good, something the big boys have long since forgotten. You won't be reading anything like what Dane posted written by a CEO of Verizon or AT&T or anyone else that illegally cooperated with the Bush justice department in their noisy but ineffective war on terror.
The encryption process should be changed to allow two passphrases, one to decrypt the drive and another that destroys all data when entered.
"Are you feeling lucky, punk?" comes to mind regarding the choice the prosecutor then has to make regarding his demand to enter the passphrase.
RE: "And as a side benefit, I am hoping it will raise the overall 'tech level' of the area, not just in matters of infrastructure, but also in awareness and education."
I agree. Maybe the inaugural search term at this data center should be "Charles Darwin".
You have it all wrong. This is going to work because the Decider has said it has to work. Case closed, just like the wonderful success we're having making Baghdad a bastion of stability and tolerance for political, religious and cultural difference.
You go, George!
This of course opens the door for Voice Over Gas, with the din of conversations echoing underground in the pipes of every city in the country. Now we'll all be able to dump that land line.
Drawback is that long distance calls become a bit problematic.

Try having your meeting in a room without chairs. Tends to lend some urgency and clarity to the discussion.
Ooshna is right. That's supposed to be -259 Farhrenheit. I'm not much of a copy editor.
It still doesn't get down to 259 F in Alaska, the freezing point of methane, even after the resignation of Sarah Palin.
Who does the RIAA use for an ISP? Maybe if third parties make complaints, the ISP will take down THEIR service. It's only fair.
Is that C$19,370 or US$19,370?
The milf will be found just before sentencing.
Does DigitalGlobe have any images of the waiting rooms at bus terminals and inside all of the seedy motels in the area in question?

Is it me or does anyone else find it strange that the press release page is generated by Cold Fusion?
