    thanks to CBC, bit torrent WILL be main stream finally, after years of waiting, real big networks start to grasp the concept and seed their own shows with their own burned in ad's , really, they are that stupid, letting people rip the show, strip the ads and distribute it when THEY could be providing a hi quality file with some burned ins ads of theirs, generating revenues that otherwise will not exist in their old fashionned, stupid traditional model but no they prefer to sue people and talk shit instead of going with the times, all of them beside CBC are still in the stone age of traditional medias hell, i trashed my tv in 2005 and never looked back, i will NEVER again watch a show with disturbing ads in it nor will I wait till they decide to show it to see it, i watch my tv uninterupted, at the time that pleases me and they hould really think about it (and I know there is voD, but mostly it's crap reality shows and they charge me for it+they put ads, grrrr, if I pay, shove your ads in your butt)

    the huge non advantage is that it is unreadeable, takes longer, gets lost, teared appart actually there is no advantage on handwriting, all in favor of laptop and proper typing technique

    they blocked canadian IP's cause they were hosted in Laval and got a take down notice from the CRIAA (the MAFIAA up here) a proxy solved this problem, and it was just the site itself, not the tracker that was blocked all of that is over now that they are hosted somewhere in europe)

    they sold me 5 MbPS, i will use 5 MbPS 24/7 here in canada bell has taken advance, throttling anyone not doing http port 80 (and at the same time, announced they plan a video store of their own, so they crush the competition before launching their service (and they throttle all resellers lines too)

    How do they distinguish encrypted traffic from an ordinary download of a zip or a jpeg? they use DPI to look into the packets for the application identifier

    problem is that BELL throttles all encrypted traffic so using encryption doesnt work at the moment the only way is to use port 80 to torrent on untill they do the DPI on this port and annoys ALL clients

    DPI on every packet, theirs or wholesales, throttles EVERY connection not HTTP/port 80 to 40 K/s, still chrges for 5 Mbps can't SSH, vpn, RDC or even download distros youtube grinds to a halt and the itunes store ...lol 4 gb in 2 days, back in 1999 and CBC, national TV, just started using torrents to distribute content funy thing is, bell will aunch a movie store shortly, so they wanted to reclaim all oversold BW for their assholes and penalize 3 rd party/resellers

    so we would need an encryption scheme with 2 keys, the real one for you that gives back the original data, and a second one that would simply destroy the file or display something else instead(maybe better, that way you don't get charged with proof destruction)
