the point I was making in my first post, besides some complaints about the actions of quite a few on this site, was that there is no proof that this election was stolen. While perhaps the Diebold machine needs to be reworked, there is no need to make insane claims that the election was stolen. If you notice, there never is an article dealing with the technical aspects and a discussion of methods of voting, but rather left biased attacks on conservatives as greedy thiefs. It would be great if there could be a nonpartizan discussion of what is going on, but how do you expect to hold a discussion when the article itself is so partizan and biased?
haha, ur calling me a moron. Of course everyone wants fair elections. The problem lies when people produce bullshit reasons like this when their candiate didn't win. "awww....Kerry didn't win. ..well. . I voted for him ...therefore he must have won. ..the election must be rigged". This whole idea is the most immature, dumb, childish thing I have ever heard.
no, i consider accusing a perfectly legal election to be stolen simply because your canidate didn't win to be left wing agenda. Also, Bush can't be put in again, hes already served his max number of terms...
2 left biased politcal stories on the frontpage, I wonder how much karma conservatives are gonna lose today. By modding conservative posts as a troll, you admit that you are afraid of the truth.
Considering there is no unbiased proof (yes, speculation and people pushing an overly biased agenda don't count) that the 2006 election was stolen, I doubt there is any point to discussing whether the next one will be. No system is perfect and there is always room for improvement, but there is a line between constructive comments and conspiracy theories.
I'm not crazy enough to try to make wireless work in Linux
Actually, Intel makes open source linux wireless drivers. It is not as hard as it used to be. Certain distros such as ubuntu comes with wireless usually working out of the box.
i don't think that Kevin Mitnick's past has stopped anyone from hiring him. Personally, I believe that "hackers" are job-worthy. Most likely, they are more experienced with computers then the average computer worker.
Isn't it kind of immature for a company to think "hmm, we have had relative sucess with dual core processors over our competitors. . so lets fit as many cores into a mobo as possible . ..that will get amd" If I recall properly, didn't the same thing happen with resistors on circuit boards back when radios and such were new? People just kept trying to fit more and more on a board rather then researching better technology. While I believe that multi-core technology needs to be developed further, there are also other things for intel to be researching.
It is very interesting that they choose Mozilla Thunderbird over Evolution, which one would think to be your best choice in an integrated calender, contact, memo, email enviroment like M$ outlook.
If M$ integrated a really useful firewall, antispyware etc system into Vista, it would be a huge leap for M$. That being said, they won't. Their "security tools" as of thus far have been second-thought, add-ons, rather then a solid system. They just throw something together so people think they are doing something. Instead of wasting system resources with aeroglass, M$ should be using those resources to have better real-time security tools.
the point is that it has already been proven that there is no evidence to support your claims. If there is no evidence, then there is no argument. When I say get over it, I am refering to getting over the fact that President Bush won the election, and there was no voter fraud. Again, just because who you voted for didn't win doesn't mean there is a conspiracy. Not a single post against mine has provided a single piece of evidence proving me wrong. Instead, I get partizan attacks.
my proof is the FACT that people have been searching for the last few years to prove your point, and not a single one has been able to come up with a single fact.

i guess asking you to actually read and comprehend my post is too much to ask for.

Intelligent people to forescent_beige: Step away from the keyboard. You are no longer worthy.
How ironic coming from a party who calls Republicans facisits . . .
ummm...thats my sig, not my argument, and its a joke btw.
sorry, typo.
Is there a reason parent is marked flamebait other then partizan modding?
I would love for someone to explain to me how my parent post is a troll, other then the fact that the modder doesn't agree with me.
whoever loses will always complain the elction was stolen. I am tired of seeing the same complaining on /.

what is M$'s incentive to fix this when the bugs mean they sell more products?
especially when intel decides to reformat the consumer's life hard drive.
Good morning Mr. Otellini.
