  1. ...I don't know it? on What MSN, Google, Yahoo and AOL Know About You · · Score: 2, Insightful

...records of the searches you make, the health problems you research and the investments you monitor, can be requested by government investigators and subpoenaed by your legal adversaries. But this same information is generally not available to you.
Erm, what? I'm pretty sure that what health problems I've researched or investments I've monitored are available to me, since I was the one that did them.
  2. South Park on MMOG Addiction Makes Mainstream Media · · Score: 1

I thought this subject hit "mainstream media" attention when one of my favorite shows (South Park) did a show about it...

  3. Microsoft Translation on 64-Bit Vista Kernel Will Be a "Black Box" · · Score: 5, Funny

For those of you who don't speak "Microsoft"... "Microsoft will operate 64-bit versions of Windows Vista as a tabernacle, with the kernel as the holy of holies, where only its own high priests of security may venture." roughly translates to "It will have a password."

  4. Mac + FireFox on IE Market Share Drops to Lowest Level in Years · · Score: 2, Insightful

I'm sure I'm not the only one here who thinks Mac's Safari is great and all but runs OS X alongside Firefox. I just prefer it's interface and features over Safari (especially the blatantly lacking tabbed browsing), so even though Mac's market share may go higher and higher, Safari's doesn't necessarily go higher along with it.

  5. "Making Of" Video on Quasi the Intelligent Robot · · Score: 2, Informative

Wow, that's a very cool robot. A bit self-centered, but that's understandable. Another video on YouTube shows a bit of the making of Quasi from the Discovery Channel, if anyone is interested.

  6. Well... on Hackers claim zero-day flaw in Firefox · · Score: 1

This is why I use NoScript. I decide whether or not I trust a site enough to run JavaScript or not. The only downside to this FF addon is that you really have to remember it is installed, or sometimes Flash sites or interactive menus just don't show up and you have no idea why... just remember to allow that site. ;p

  7. 10 Hours? on Crysis to Feature 10 Hour Multiplayer Matches · · Score: 4, Funny

Holy wow... 10 hours to take down an enemy base? They should add "For former WOW users only" to the box.

  8. Also... on Apple Responds to Labor Accusations · · Score: 2, Informative

We have to keep in mind that Apple's Code of Conduct != the law (though it may to them). Looks like they're not really breaking any rules here... just employee backs.

  9. Closet Gamer on Jack Thompson Files Take-Two, Rockstar Lawsuit · · Score: 1

This is all lies, Jack just wants to get a copy early because he knows it'll be so fun.
