    Dell and HP already do sell Linux boxes. It is only North America that is behind the curve - as usual. Linux adoption in other countries is rather higher.

    Interesting - most furnaces require an electric blower to move air through the ducts and won't fire, if the power fails. The BlueFlame models are vent free - no chimney and no blower. They have protection against oxygen depletion. However, they won't work in really cold areas, where oxygen depletion is guaranteed to happen.

    If you factor in all the training costs to teach a child to read, the true cost of a book must be several thousand dollars. So we should stop teaching the children and close all schools.

    Not true. It only happens if input is not range checked. It usually means that some lazy idiot used one of the zero terminated string functions in C, instead of the new ones that have an explicit length. For example, strcpy() instead of strncpy().
