    For every case of a police officer abusing his power, there are literally millions of cases of police officers simply doing their jobs.
    I don't think you understand that the point isn't this specific officer, it's a government in which this kind of abuse is generally permissible.

    The whole reason he knows he won't get a ticket is because cops look out for each other before they look out for the people they're supposed to protect. Not sure what point you think you're making there...

    Oh come on.. copyright is law, but it's evil. Complying with authorities that indend to enforce copyright is assisting the evil. You can't say "the courts are still relatively fair here, and the person will receive a trial that determines his guilt or innocence... Google provided information to the courts that will help in that determination" since the courts (by definition) follow the law, and the law in this case is evil. So in this case "Don't be evil" translates "Don't obey the law." The copyright=evil statement might not be true but surely you can see the reasoning. And the criticism mentioned is criticism for doing evil.. not directly equal to actually being evil but it's a clear relation

    Counter-Strike has had muting for ages, you can "start playing online" again right now. With no monthly fees, and you don't have to host your own games. --~~~~

    Because it's not just something shiny. You can fire the laser from basically anywhere on earth that's facing the moon and it will return in exactly the opposite direction right back at you. Shiny surfaces don't do that; it takes a precise structure

    They have a mirror set up on the moon so that anyone who knows where to look can fire a laser at it and get a reflection back; that conspiracy theory has been debunked long ago

    I saw this at the airport in Columbus, OH. I guessed at the time that it was some kind of scam, but I was confident in my computer's security so (since the airport's wifi wasn't working) I just used the scam network.

    Yeah but you can't deny that in DM-style games the bots can rarely hold their own against even mediocre players. I was beating the much-vaunted UT99 "godlike" bots after only months of playing. Also counter-strike is no fun if you die and you're just watching bots play..
