Nop. When overpopulation comes up, people will start thinking of solutions. Just like they do with any other problem that comes up. And there'll always be people who'd just choose not to procreate.

You don't seem to understand that the mindset simply comes from the situation.. even if all the people who believe we should breed less were to die out, the idea would still resurface soon enough if we grow big enough again, as a species, to make unsustainable resources an issue again.

I'm sure it takes as much effort to import something relatively innocent, as it takes to import something quite vile. The innocent thing will often also be available locally though, making the import much less interesting. That might be an explanation why only the worst of Japanese porn gets to the west.

Anyway, as far as I know the Japanese simply do not have any real "legal age", and there's a whole lot of other laws about sex that the west has, but they don't. So, whatever's attractive and doesn't fight them off is fair game. That's why incest, pedophilia and the like aren't frowned upon that much. Frankly, as long as no real harm is done (permanent diseases, pregnancy, physical or psychological harm etcetera), I don't even see any problem with that. It's definitely more natural than the strict age limit that most western countries have.

"Plenty" might do. Water will keep on flowing as long as the sun keeps evaporating it into clouds, and those clouds end up raining on the top of mountains because they can't get over said mountains.

This source of power is self-replenishing until the freaking sun dies out or something ends up covering the lakes and seas from the sun's warmth. For a layman, that's close enough to "infinite". Trust me.

If I were you, I wouldn't even be so quick to suggest a real offense is needed... as long as there is a perceived one. A single person drawing a wrong conclusion can convince a whole village of someone's guilt. Or heck.. think of the attention-seekers, like girls who fake having been raped.

That's why you don't let groups of people decide, without presenting all evidence and all sides of the story in an orderly fashion.
A single person is, maybe, a little less likely to make such mistakes. Still, most people are incapable of being properly unbiased, so groups of people who have been dealing with crime and such for a long time pick someone to make the judgment. A "judge" so to speak.

You know, I'm just going to cut a rant short here. Basically... courts suck, the law sucks, but it beats the simpler alternative. Maybe someday we'll find something that doesn't require people to waste years of their life learning how to twist the system in their favor (E.G.: lawyers). One can only hope, right?
