    Unfortunately, the GPL fails explicitly to mention the use of Reasonable Force in pursuit of your entitlements. Maybe in v4 ..... things could get quite interesting in the USA where guns are legal .....

    Or at least asking them for the source. It's a common misconception that a GPLd app must be accompanied by source code. The company only has to make it available upon request.

    Yes, it is. It is 1/10th the size, fully documented (no "spaceLikeWord98" tags) and references other open standards (PNG, MathML, etc.) rather than inventing its own new formats for such things. MS OOXML is just them documenting what they've already done and presenting it as a standard. It also shows just how *crappy* they code things (WTF? spaceLikeWord98?? What intern thought of that?). Compatibility issues will be solved by the document version and XML namespaces, not stupid 'workLikeODF1_0' tags. ODF is fully extensible using namespaces.

    You're trying to do something stupid here: a Mac is only good as Apple sold it to you. They've went to thoroughly extensive work to ensure it is so, trying to get something production ready with OSX apps under Linux is begging for problems.

    And this is why we need a day to remind people to be nice to sysadmins... Lose the god complex and folks will respect you *every* day.

    The clip begins with the narrator suggesting that the protestors were "asking for it" by throwing rocks at the police, but they can't spin the footage of their own camerapeople getting beaten up

    Tend to your own *spin*. They reported that the protesters were throwing rocks. how is that 'spin'? Or suggesting they were 'asking for it'?

    For it to be called broadband I think the bandwidth should have to be symmetric, or at least 2:1.

    I like that idea a lot. There's nothing like having decent downstream (my 6Mbps cable) with tiny upstream (300Kbps). :-(
