75% efficiency IP over IB is actually pretty good. I can get about ~330MB/sec out of an I/O node (storage capability and file system depending of course) after tuning. Seeing upwards of 1GB/sec out of an SDR IB link... that's pretty impressive.

core2duo is modeled after woodcrest, having 4 flops per initial process clock cycle, 2 flops sequential. The one thing AMD will always have over Intel is memory bandwidth (suggesting Intel doesn't change their arch) and this is because of Intel's absolute demand for memory to interface through the southbridge wereas AMD has direct access to memory from the socket. There's about a 85ns latency advantage there... which is huge when your doing visualizations.

AMD also scales better at larger cpu counts.

I'm surprised that the email spammers weren't all over this one. All you'd need to do is find out what email addy those emails were sent out from... and then dictionary spam the radioshack email addy's with that message. In Current News... 90% of radioshack employees did not show up for work today as they all thought they were fired. lol gg.

Mine was with FF X rather than VII. Tidus + Yuna relationship bit... I was so excited when X-2 came out, thought I was going to get to see them reunite. I was 99% completed, and as it turns out... there is 1 part, about 50% complete through the game that you have to do to become 100% complete. It was at that point that I felt two requirements to cry. One, because I would never see Yuna and Tidus reunite, and two... that I didn't do every single side quest of the game like I always do. I felt an enormous void that I should never recover from. Days later I found the ending video on a torrent site and downloaded it. I felt much better at that point.
