"The British government, though, is seeking to change the law in order to lock up people with personality disorders that are thought to make them likely to commit crimes, before any crime is committed.'"
Uh oh, I'm in trouble. I have personality disorders that mark me as anti-social and violent tendencies. I have them both under control, but should I start wearing my tinfoil hat again?
You mean to say there's a law that actually protects websites and their ability to post whatever they desire?
Maybe laws aren't just for lawyers after all.
I use javascript and html encoded ASCII. The website my organization uses ( nonlogic.org ) is almost entirely php based with headers. So including the php header also includes the obfuscation script (which is only 1 line). To display an email addy we just do addy('name','domain') and that's that. Combined with gmail's filters and the fact I have a personal account for talking to humans, and a spam account that I use for anything requiring an email address to use, I never get a single piece of spam in my inbox. (And to my knowledge have never had any false positives).
I completely agree. An uniformed vote is far worse than no vote at all. The masses are easily swayed. Do you really want the people governing your nation to be picked via their ability to spread the most propaganda? Granted, that is more or less how things work now, but uninformed votes only worsen the situation.
I (and friends of mine at http://nonlogic.org/ ) use getacoder.com for various projects. The fees are pretty outrageous. We find it easier to make initial contacts via getacoder and then conduct further business outside of the site.
Half the reason I like USB (and I think this is true for many others) is that it is also a power source. Without wireless power, won't we be plagued with forever-dying batteries or continuing ratnests of power cables?
Or did I miss somethign?
What about domestic terrorists? What if we find a group of (Ameircan born) terrorists have a base of operations in say, Austin, Texas. Should we carpet bomb that city?
I partially agree with you, invasion is a bad idea, but you go a wee bit too far. Sending in a few reconasaince teams to dig out the most likely spots for terrorist strong holds then smart bombing the area -- after giving fair warning so that civilians may leave -- seems a less horrific and more justified response. Also, we should offer the host country to round up the terrorists before we go in guns blazing.
We know the egg came first because it was the first to light up its cigarette and ask "how was it, baby?"

AMSN and Mercury Messenger both have a great deal of compatibility with MSN, including pictures and webcam stuff. Not that I ever recommend using MSN.
Tagged "bzzzt" for over zealous use of tasers.
Haha, those coppers sure love them tasers. Nothing like zapping a victim with 50 kilovolts of nerve incapacitating love.

I can't stomach any more food related word plays.
D'oh!
You spelled txt'ng wrong....
Fucking SMS.
Also, wtf. Text-to-speech for text messaging? Does anyone else see how inane this is? IT'S A PHONE, JUST CALL THEM.
How mature of you.

Security through obscurity? I think not.

HAHA stupid fatasses.
Sorry... I'm a jaded skinny guy.
Oxygen and hydrogen are both diatomic.
Let me spell that out for you: they occur in molecules of two. O2, H2
Seems like you're the one that dropped out of school early.
can't... take... the nerd... overload....
gahh!

Yeah, finally, a way to keep the tubes from getting over filled.
