That'd be great! But the local pizzahut doesn't allow you to pay online or over the phone. They don't deliver either. You can order online or over the phone but you have to pay in store.
No not really all the setup and activation systems are fully automated unless something goes wrong and you have to talk to support.
Porting might still have someone on the other end though I'm not sure about that one.
IME the people that do that don't bother porting their number it doesn't bother them any but it's a PITA for everyone else that's trying to get a hold of them since they have a new number every other month.
My guest guess is the activation fee is just a mislabeled tech support for your new phone fee.
I seem to remember that you aren't supposed to send cash in the mail because letters with cash tend to get lost in the mail at a higher rate than letters without cash.
I was recording die hard 2 on broadcast TV years ago It was preempted by severe weather about half way through and they stayed on the weather radar for the rest of the movie.
I didn't see rest of that movie until I found it on for sale on VHS for a few dollars about 7 or 8 years later.
Most movies after I've watched it once I CBA to watch it again unless it was really good and there was a commentary track in which case I will watch each commentary track once.
I haven't heard a commentary track in several years though the digital copies don't have that type of fun stuff.
I'm wondering why they don't do the same with blurays. I already notice that the DVD and bluray physical copies are almost always cheaper than a digital copy.
Yeah it's great but it gets to be a problem when you need a few seasons of a tv show for a gift and its not even available on a disc.
About a month ago I needed to get 3 seasons of edge of Alaska as a gift for a 98yr old. Come to find out it's not available on disc it's digital only and no service that sells digital copy's allows you to burn it to disc or save it in any format that will work with a bluray player.
Sure you could but you don't have enough surface area to charge an electric car in a reasonable time. Although it's plenty to run the stereo indefinitely.
Here I thought Prime was their premium offering. Now they are adding all these extra frills for just a few dollars more. How long until they start shrinking their prime catalog to make the other services look better?
I'm pretty sure they already did it once when they added stars by making sure there was no overlap in their catalog.
Amazon music unlimited: Great now I can pay for nearly a whole other prime subscription just for the music that's not on prime and still have less selection than spotify.
Amazon anime: Great! now all the anime will vanish from amazon prime. Have to go back to netflix for that then.
I wonder if amazon will ever update their app so audio stays in sync past the first 10 minutes.
Not really any benefit switching at that distance + wire length I figure you can only get up to 6 Mbps max on ADSL or ADSL2+ since att doesn't sell any plans between 6 and 12.
Something important to note while att's dsl uses the standard dsl protocols the uverse flavor of dsl uses a proprietary version of the standard so you can't use 3rd party modems.
Alright we're talking about the ADSL2+ flavor then it's the crappiest thing they still call u-verse.
The upload speed maxes out at 1Mbps but the other flavours have 1.5Mbps it's the same price either way tho.
When they were initially advertising it they were calling it a fiber optic connection (which is BS) most areas aren't getting that flavor but they were advertising it like it was.
I suppose that's good for them here since the city sells FTTH they can just lie to people and say hey we have FTTH too and sell people ADSL2+ instead it's not like anyone will figure it out.
What flavor of U-verse are you getting? AT&T sells a bunch of different things and still calls it U-verse.
In town here they sell the ADSL2+ flavor.
The 6Mbps dsl connection we had before hadn't given us any issue unless the junction boxes were underwater in which case the phone was out too.
When we switched over to uverse they put us on the 12Mbps rate that took several service calls and switching us to another copper pair to get working stable a few months ago it was bumped up to 14Mbps and it went to crap had to have a tech set it back to 12Mbps.
It's stable at 12Mbps but just barely.
It's still having a lot of line errors now but it's back to running normally.
That'd be great!

Oh I just got MeTV here about 2 weeks ago haven't watched anything on it yet I just noticed its been added to the channel list
I haven't seen them do it in long time but IIRC only one of the 3 stations with weather I can pickup ever did it.
Anyone know why PBS stations don't carry any severe weather alerts?
This was way before digital tv.
I have actually seen our local weather stations do that before.
I would love to be able to download digital copies of movies i've purchased.
I mean seriously they often cost more than buying a physical copy that includes a digital copy what's the problem with letting me make my own dvds?
I can do it with music why not movies?

Thats cool me next! Where can I buy a copy of the 1995 "The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes"?
A DRM digital copy is more convenient to use however the DRM restricted physical copy is easier to rip.
Amazon does not allow you to download copies of videos you own on PC DRM or not.
Although it would be really nice if they did.

Usually anymore I just do digital rentals.
I'm wondering why they don't do the same with blurays.

iOS second to last word in TFS.
Do any iOS devices even have native (hardware decoding) support of h.265 let alone VP9?
This is a problem why? Would you rather someone build a coal plant next to your house to supply the power instead?
The electricity has to come from somewhere.
Lowering air pollution benefits all.

A lot of people have very good reasons to hate AT&T what's yours?
I personally am annoyed by being asked to sign in to look around the store.
Cool
I assume you clipped out all the unskippable anti piracy warnings and preroll ads for other movies by the same studio?
Verizon hiked our unlimited prices by $20 you ATT UDPers have had TWO price hikes and you're still $10 short!
Alexa, Stop!
