I don't know what happened in those situations where the deer goes flying through the windshield, but I've been in a car (a pickup, to be precise) twice in my lifetime that has hit a deer, and both times there was a thud, and a jerk as if a bus was stopping, and the deer just toppled over.
Believe me when I say anyone who wanted to take a deer that was standing on the road wouldn't take the time to pull over and get their guns. Just turn on the high beams and put the peddle to the metal!

Maybe one of you can answer my stupid question for me, because it's been bugging the hell out of me.
I saw a NASA photograph a few weeks ago which showed the emergence of a new island from underwater volcanic activity in the pacific.
So are events like this a direct result of the melting glaciers? Or does all that lava being spewed out from below the crust have a noticeable effect on sea levels?
CNN has confirmed reports of the use on airplanes of what has been dubbed a "Jamming device" believed to be intended to interfere with communications between the plane and the ground. Police have arrested a suspect known to frequent a site which regularly hosts discussions on technological terrorism
Am I the only one who wants to see a Klingon show? Think about it, colourful characters, lots of action, potential for both the "lone starship" and the "organized empire" episodes.
I get real tired of the human perspective on everything. It's like all episodes revolve around some moral dilemma where the rights of some other species has to be put above the interest of the humans. But with a Klingon show they could just start screaming nonsense while they beat the poor little Binars over the head with their bat'leths!
If you take the time and effort to go hunting just so you can make a kill, you will be disappointed. So much effort goes into the pre-hunt scout, the tracking, the planning, walking around in the bush, ect. Pulling the trigger shouldn't take you more than 2-3 seconds, and you'll be lucky if your prey wants to stay still for that long. If all your doing is pulling the trigger, then you're not hunting, you're just shooting animals.
It might work different for you tree-standers in the south, but meh, I'm posting anyways.
