But that still doesn't make their current marketing strategy acceptable. Unfortunately for me who was looking "bang-for-buck-WAN-performance" there aren't that many choices in this price category.
Yes, they do indeed work. Up to a point where your downstream crosses the ADSL2+ threshold and then they stop being such a good little buggers.
I ran a WRT54GS for ages with dd-wrt and was a happy camper. Until I got a new 110Mb cable connection (I live in Finland). The Linksys' WAN port capacity get's capped by the CPU power to around 2.4mbps and when overclocked to 252Mhz I was able to raise it up to 3.6mbps.
After changing to DIR-655 I was able to max out my 'net connection.
I love the logic in that. If these were the car and oil companies, Shell would be seeking a free revenue stream from Ford because, god damnit, their cars run on Shell's content. Albeit that Shell has already been paid for that content, but anyways. WE WANT MORE MONEY, GIVE IT TO USSSSS!
Some cleanup is needed in the high-up of media companies, how can these asshats even remotely expect to run a profitable distribution system in the near future.
That ink has to have a seriously fast wet-to-dry time.. It it spews pages out that fast, how can you keep the ink on the page intact if the next page shooting out of the printer on top of the previous one is going to make contact in just a few seconds?
"They are still found fairly often among Lapp and Finn individuals."
We always knew that we were better off with 'better brain' gene and willingfully gave the 'superior beauty' gene to the Swedes! Unfortunately 'better artistic skills' and 'big round tits' were bundled in the same package, but I guess that we are better off with Nokia than Abba.
In case you do want to crypt your files and when forced by an official of this oppressive regime to decrypt them, you make sure that you use TrueCrypt http://www.truecrypt.org/
From the page:
Provides two levels of plausible deniability, in case an adversary forces you to reveal the password:
1) Hidden volume.
2) No TrueCrypt volume can be identified (volumes cannot be distinguished from random data).
So with one password you can open a volume that 'appears' to be what you needed to encrypt, but still hides the files that you intended to crypt in the first place. Good free software, perfect for us working with laptops.
You either:
a) have dad issues
b) have made the unfortunate mistake of selecting a couch potato to father your children
I'm sorry either way.
We so need "edit"..

Blimps are unlikely to get very high..
Only when not carrying a large loads of hemp and their natural byproducts!
And in one of them, you will find a WinMe machine wanting to challenge you to a tick-tack-toe.
Call me when they agree to support Matroska (.mkv). Now that would be news.
