a secret room where the government sniffs our packets.
I plan on not showering so I can have the most skid-marked packets for their sniffing pleasure.
As for China, I'm sure they'll just going to go along with this. That's what they usually do in reply to any external pressure regarding online rights. They just didn't realize the errors of their ways!
Wow Windows Plus!, what a forgotten binary abortion... Nothing like an animated butterfly cursor to brighten up ones day and slow down ones system! Thanks for reminding me.
Well, the music industry hasn't exactly made the best moves regarding new technology and distribution methods. They could just be stupid enough to refuse to sell though iTunes if they don't get what they want...
"If we lived in a very large under-density, then the space-time itself wouldn't be accelerating," said researcher Timothy Clifton of Oxford University in England. "It would just be that the observations, if interpreted in the usual way, would look like they were."
That should improve compatibility for some of these mods. Nothing more annoying than trying to connect to a server and having to wait to download the latest version. Ok well there are more annoying things, but I'm just sayin'
Hey unless my SLI nVidia cards die before I upgrade in another 6 months to a year, who cares? I didn't read TFA, but if we're talking 1 year vs 100 years, I couldn't care less. They work, they're fast and stable.
Seems like me with my student loans... I owe so God damned much, why not just buy this second SLI video card? It's not like $300 is going to make a noticeable dent in my loans and getting a new video card would be REALLY fun!
While I'm sure idiocy plays into some of the security practices, it's likely that the practices are calculated. The money they make via "unsecure" administration, extending credit, etc., might greatly outweigh the cost of having to cover fraudulent purchases/reimbursements/ID theft and things of that nature. Just an idea.
Corporate greed has a way of coming out on top, even when practices look stupid. They are making their money, even if our IDs are at risk. Which, you know, is clearly bullshit.
Hey man thanks. Fanbois out there don't like people saying anything negative about the iPhone. I mean it's awesome but my roommate has one and says that it actually sucks as a phone (although everything else is so cool that he doesn't care). I'm glad at least one person got my point!
*Major genres unrepresented.
*Station playlists that would become predictable within a week.
*Sub-genres within all genres utterly unrepresented in general (for example, one Metal station on all of Sirius, and it only plays death metal).
*A whole slew of stations essentially devoted to playing the exact same stuff that you hear on standard Top 40 radio.
*Commercials, despite being advertised as commercial-free.
*Annoying DJs (the receivers display the name/artist playing, you do NOT need DJs trying to be funny between every song).
*Oh, and a monthly fee on top of that.
Unfortunately, consumer demand drives it. People listen to what's comfortable. I don't understand why the top40 stations are some of the most popular. Even the "indie" and punk stations play all the same crap. It's clearly selling though.
I guess there's not much to say except 1) yay, the internet is not going to reach capacity and 2) now I won't have to worry about going back to magazines for pr0n. Much easier to clear your cache and history than finding a good wife/girlfriend/son proof hiding spot at the house.
I'm so happy I'm going to go get a second sub-prime mortgage!

Problem solved?
I couldn't be happier not having experienced the headaches mentioned in this article.
I don't know what you're talking about. I totally got a huge hard extra 3-5 inches!
Working with threads! Get it! BA-ZING! Sorry. I'm not a programmer. Clearly.
How'd they know I did some Token'-eer research last night?
R2-D2 had this shit down a long time ago.
It's too bad that one of the jobs lost wasn't Uwe Boll's. I'm just sayin'.
Don't video cards do that? or does this thing just sorta add juice to your system?
I WANT THIS TO BE AWESOME but I'm just a bit underwhelmed.

So... they're not then?
That would have been a bad day to have mp3s or questionable porn on his computer!

I'm pretty sure that baby can do EVERYTHING! Right? Right?
Really?

well shit if they were trying to hide it and people find it, I say nice spy work.
Yeah well it's not going to NOW! Jeez didn't you read the story? :)
