Bringing jobs back to USA is great, but this means the product becomes more expensive, which means the salary you get producing those may not be enough...
So in other words, we get back jobs and lower salaries to levels before we shipped the jobs overseas..
Use POR-15 paint or similar for non-moving parts. Proper greasing for the moving parts.
You gotta start somewhere, time will tell what other problems could arise.
Ok, if he was so bad, why did you vote for him TWICE?
And why are there only TWO candidates for president in the USofA? Republican and Democratic? At least that's what all news outlets say..
You don't need to give the captcha to two users, give each user one captcha, so what if one of them is wrong.. You'd have one captcha solved and another not. The web site will tell you that you got it wrong..
With their disconnection/connection fees, wasteful advertisements, and high prices, Vonage is getting what they deserved. It'd be a wet dream if Rogers Phone would follow their fate, but nobody can touch such a big company..
Beware of using UPS for shipping from USA to Canada..
UPS will charge you like $30-$40 on a $50USD product.
That's because UPS charges you "convenience fee"(brokerage fee) of $20 for a $40 product. (http://www.ups.com/content/ca/en/shipping/cost/zones/customs_clearance.html) [UPS.com]
USPS charges you a $5.00 flat fee.
Can somebody tell me, what would happen if someone does the same thing in Canada? (Costco/Sam's club are especially persistent in asking for receipts and opening backpacks).
I like the look and feel of Safari. Yes, shortcuts don't work, it doesn't have the flashblok and etc.. but I use it just from from time to time.. to get a little change.. Gmail works fine with it and there is no need for adblock/flashblock there..
It's a change, from the clumsy Firefox.. Everything is so smooth with Safari.. When I saw Safari, I said to my self - if I had the money to spend, I'd buy a Mac.. I wonder how many people will buy a Mac, just because they saw Safari on Windows.. I know I would.
Ha, there is a nice feature right there - in Safari you can resize your textboxes (the multi-lines ones..). That's awesome!
Tell the big company that you're considering another option and ask them for a raise. They should give you 3-4% on top of what they've offered. This will show you that they indeed value you / need you.
Go with the big company, unless the city that's 120 miles away you're moving in is much better - where would you feel more at home, what's the price of houses, etc. etc..
With both places being equal or close, definitelly go with the bigger company - you will have a chance to change jobs within the same company as well.
And remember, the salary you start with, doesn't go up that easy unless you change companies.
It's interesting that their article is written in May 2006...
"We have informed all our trade diamond suppliers in writing that we require them to supply De Beers exclusively with merchandise that complies with the Kimberley Process, which obliges them to issue the following guarantee in writing:
"The diamonds herein invoiced have been purchased from legitimate sources that are not involved in funding conflict and are in compliance with United Nations resolutions. The seller hereby guarantees that these diamonds are conflict free based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantee provided by the supplier of these diamonds." "
Yes, I promise I won't sell you bloody diamonds.. Promise.. don't you believe me?
I just tried FF3 and it looks great. Would you ruin my experience as well by telling me what bugs you with FF3?

Load it up with spyware and see how long it survives under the load :)

First it was power lines, now this.. If you don't get barbecued on a high voltage power line, you could end up chopped up by turbine blades.. Nice :)
yes, you are an idiot.

Put a few super magnets under the doors and around the windows, and let's see how these buggers would come in..
I';ve been thinking about getting an Asterix, but can't find anything decent for cheap. Any ideas?
That's all good and nice, but what's the stargate address there so I can check it out?
Am I the only one thinking of the word "brainfart" here? Spontaneous Brainfart, it's simple as that :)
You remind me of a certain group of people, being "PROUD".. Good for you :)

I suggest that you ask some of the students to bring lots of feathers. I'm sure you're getting the idea :)
That was funny and I was just thinking about writing a similar reply :)

Fuck you Robert!
Yup, I know them. Some time ago these were called pirates..
I wonder why nobody suggested this:

What's wrong with neteller.com? Except that it is difficult to spell?
according to DeBeer's page, since 2003, they do not sell blood diamonds anymore.. or rather, they do not buy bloody diamonds anymore:
