I know that a lot of shackers and other people on the net aren't christian or don't even beleive in God. Thats fine. Tomorrow (now today) you will hear a lot of people praying, asking you to pray, etc. This isn't the snickers comercial where they bring in a representative of every religion before the big game. It will feel weird. I feel that a week ago that if NBC was showing a service that someone would whine. Today, I ask ya just let it slide. When they say pray, interperate that as 'do what makes you feel comfortable. Please just be respectful like your mama would want you to be. But for today, just kinda chalk it up to all those people burned, crushed, flateneted, chocked, suffocated, etc. to death.
As always HardOCP comes through with a great review here They put the P4 up a notch (OF COURSE) and also put it up against an A4 @ 1.4GHz. Basically a lot of the same, but you can see that this is by no means a "win" for intel as some reviews have put it.
One possible sollution for you is to get say a 1.2 GHz and since the AMD procs are not multiplyer locked, run it at 1.0 GHz. Also, living here in Kansas, Humidity in 60-70% is familiar. You may want to look into water cooling. The downside is condensation can be a problem in a poorly done water rig in a high humidity environment. Also, The Tbirds and old Durons dont have on die thermisters so unless your thermister is touching the CPU with some thermal goo, it is prolly not giving you a completely acurate reading.
The P4s also have quite a bit of heat on them too and require some massive HSFs.

100+ C? That is 212+ in F and that is WAY out of Spec for AMD procs. The TBird 1ghz my girlfriend ran at this summer in 90F ambient while the AC was down stayed at 120F with a Vantek CKK and good case cooling. A Peltier sure isnt going to help much in that situation btw.
It is rated 2.5 but it is well documented that it will work @ cas 2

The AC pointed out some serious flays with this system idea. Also, if you have that Tyan board get two cpus and tool coolers obviously. Also, get more then just one SCSI drive if you are going for it. Also since you are on SCSI get SCSI CDRW and DVD so that increases the price.
Why get a GeForce 3 when you can have a Kyro II on your doorstep for $88 and it will play everything out there today more then fine and the GeForce 3 is going to play the next gen stuff (a la doom 3) @ 30FPS. ?! Buying a GeForce 3 is a very very bad idea when a Kyro II on a fast 1+GHz system is a very fast card. (Kyro II like VooDoo 5s have no T&L so they scale a lot better, see VooDoosource.net for more info on that).
Tyan is the one that did the board and chipset really. Tyan knows SMP. IF you want Dual Proc. SMP go AMD. Also, you can get 1U dual 1.2GHz PaloMinos. How kinky is that? Cheaper SMP solutions that dont have everything and the kitchen sink (as well as power 3d rendering support) are on the way.
Besides, if you want real SMP - everyone knows you stay away from the x86
FYI, it is hard pressed to find a PSU that is not AMD OK. Even DEER makes AMD okay PSUs. As for cooling, you can get $20 coolers from 2CoolTek that will easily keep a sub 1.2ghz Tbird (yet alone Palomino) cool enough in a 90F environment.
HardOCP talks about the delay recently due to XBox delays causing that to be nVidias main focus. Also there have been rumblings about re-adjusting the South and Northbirdge features. The office line from nVidia on the nForce has been SILENT since Compudex. There have been quite a few delay rummors on the inq. etc. tho.
How much is best buy paying you these days? The P4 may hold the MHz crown but that is due to its stretched pipeline. Performance wise, the Tbirds and Athlon4s smack the living crap out of P4s. Also, currently the Athlon4MPs are the fastest Dual Proc. system available (x86). Rummor has it that the new Tuts in Dual are pretty fast but thats just rummor. Also, it is not just q3 we are talking about, and if you are only getting 40 fps, you need to upgrade, but that is the old FPS argument that is tried and trite.
Also, since the Athlon came out, no CPU jump has shown a MASSIVE performance bennefit. The P4s are actually slower the the P3s. The Athlon 4s are about 10% faster then the Tbirds. Unless its been 2 years since your last upgrade, dont expect much. Also, don't forget that with games like Doom comming out, your system right now is not getting pushed. It will come to the point where it will be.
As I have pointed out, the CPU (at least when going to AMD systems) is a lot more 'flexable'. If you get say the EpoX board right now (8kHA) and a Tbird 1.4ghz for $235 shipped, you are paying less then what you would have been paying for a P3 700 2 years ago at this time. Also, when you can get a 1ghz for $68 that can be easily oc'd to higher (Some AHJHAs are hitting 1.6 w/ air cooling), come a year from now when the Athlon 4s are @ 2ghz, you can pick one of those up for $150 and slap it in your box and ebay your 1.4 or 1ghz and still not totally eat the cost.
DDR from Crucial is cheaper then any Pc133 Cas2 out there. SDR is now more expensive then DDR thanks to Crucial's free 2 day. Also, the nForce is more then 8mos away at the least, and when it comes out - expect it to be $250+ for a motherboard. Nvidia is way to ahead of the game on this one and the nForce is not gonna swim.

Going after federal and state charges can still be quite tricky. If they do, it will be done with different prosecuters.
As for sueing someone if they dont get convicted, that is completely different. That is going for civil liability vs. criminal liability. They are obviously not mutually exclusive (see oj simpson)
Strangly enough - in most states car theft is not a felony. Why? Because when you get busted you just say the owner let you borrow it. There is your intent. The owner can sware he didn't say such a thing, but it comes down to one's word vs. the other.

The new Athlon4 and Morgan cores are on a smaller process and are designed to be not as hot, even tho AMD Procs are notorious for their heat.
