Aha! I used Book2Pod with success. Testing HTML right now...god, loading this many notes is slow...hmm, didn't work. Will continue testing. Sorry about the disjointed posts, it's hard to think straight when I just woke up >.

I've used programs like PodText to transfer books to my iPod. Not that program specifically, but I can't find the one I used...but I found several at Versiontracker. A recent MacAddict article said that the iPod supports basic HTML like you asked. I can't find the article, but this seems to be correct.

That is a false-hood, and I challenge you to provide me with a single location in the US that has ONLY Wal-Mart that offers music for sale.

AFAIK, Devils Lake, ND has no music dealers (using qwestdex.com searching for category:music). They do have a Wally World. That example was also very easy to find, I typed a random ZIP code into walmart.com and looked up the city that came up. I have no doubt that I could find others.

You shouldn't sue the conduit. Normally, people don't sue the gun maker (although in our sue-happy world, I wouldn't doubt it's been tried) when they are shot, even if the gun doesn't have a warning label stating that people can die with its use.

I don't tip because I have extra money. I tip because I've worked just about every shit job there is at some point in time, and can completely relate to them having to deal with asshole customers every day who think that $2.25/hr actually pays the rent in most metro areas.

Bingo. Even though many of the waiters probably make as much as I do (I'm lucky to live in a state with a $7.01 minimum wage), I have a rule about tipping 20% unless they spit in my food or something. (It's really easy, just move the decimal point left one space, and double that. So a $20.00 tab gets a $4 tip) I know how much it sucks to be a part-time wage slave and still not make enough to pay rent. I also tipped a cab driver $20 getting me from SF International to downtown SF in about 10 minutes. People who don't tip (and tip well) have never been poor.
