    C'mon, you know you love the beardy guy!

    Seriously though, i think Alan is more conservative when it comes to thinkering with the kernel, as opposed to Linus, which loves to play with his baby. They both balance out fine, and the result is great.

    A(lan) Cox may be slow responding to email due to the fact that he is busy getting his MBA. I think the term is near completion, so he may be writing papers and whatnot. In the mean time you may wish to try this processor.

    The best architecture is still VAX. Clearly string operations at the processor levels is what any procesor needs to be the best and fastest

    Perhaps we need to embed Perl on this Chip. That would surly get the best performance... "imagine a"... oh never mind

    Alan Cox seems to be the source of some 25% of the fixes. If that's taking it easy, than I'm a 17 tongued goat.

    Yeah yeah, parts of it are merges of old fixes, but even with that in consideration, he is definitely superhuman

    The new kernel maintainer is doing a great job too. I can't believe he stepped in and had so much momentum immediately! Rather amazing. He's definitely living up to the very high expectations
