sorry, haven't seen torrents for the MacOS X or Solaris versions posted anywhere.

That is all I have been able to grab so far. I'll try to grab the OS X and Solaris(?) ones next. Someone already posted a Linux mirror, so that is less of a priority.
If anyone already has the files, you can use my tracker if you like:

BSOD at Sonics game
I've seen a BSOD at a Sonics game. What makes it funny in my opinion is that the big three of Microsoft frequent the games (Ballmer, Gates, Allen). I have the BSOD right next to their pictures
:). Actually, on Tuesday Ballmer sat in my row again. I waved at him, but I don't know if he saw me. He may have been freaked out because I was staring at him the whole game (we lost horribly, so I didn't miss much).

outcome with pictures
Hello all. I attended the demonstration at the Alki site. I'll try and give a basic description of what it was like.
We used a 18(?) dbi Yagi to connect to someone in the Columbia tower (the big black building, the tallest in Seattle). We also used a 24 dbi parabolic to connect to the Magnolia site. First we got internet working by relaying through a guys office in the tower. I got over 250 kB/s at some points. It took us a while longer, but we eventually got the connection to Magnolia working. Actually, Ken Caruso did most of the work fixing the Soekris box on the Magnolia end (it was configured for a different network). We had a little bit of problems with the DNS for the internet access, but that was eventually fixed. We were all able to get into an IRC room and use iChat, but we weren't successful on getting iChat AV to work across the main link. I think it may have to do with the fact that all the computers were behind a NAT to the internet. Rendezvous, unfortunately, didn't work across the link because we were routing.
It was actually a sight to see. We had solar panels, batteries, a generator, lots of tables, tons of cables, video cameras, still cameras, cell phones with cameras, FRS radios, etc. Actually, you can see it. I have pictures on my website:

I think he needed the money..for basketball ticket
Normally I would see Ballmer sitting courtside. However, later in the season I saw him sitting in my row I think it is obvious that he sold his shares so he could get more courtside seats.

here's my room in QTVR
Forget pictures, real geeks use QuickTime VR! Anyway, here is my room. It is a fairly old picture, but not too much has changed.

I have a mirror
I stayed up late this morning trying to download it from nVIDIA. I finally got it and put it on my server. It is available here:
http://andrewhitchcock.org/ArmyOpsRecon.exe
It may be slow, but as of last night, it was still faster than the official mirrors who are swamped (and it beats waiting in FilePlanet's line). -
In case /. got /.ed
adpowers writes: "Anandtech is running an article about their preview of AMD's Hammer. They had one machine running 32-bit Windows and the other running 64-bit Linux. The Linux machine had a 32 bit program and an identical program that was compiled for 64-bit processor support. Both processors were less than 30 days old and running without any crashes, but they weren't at full speed." We did one Hammer story a day or two ago, but there have been several more posted since then (wild guess: the NDA expired). Tom's Hardware has a story, so does Gamespot.

Re:20 theaters?
Yes, I have been spoiled by the Cinerama and it is the only theatre I want to view movies in (besides my home). I prefer about 3 rows back in the same section as you (not the balcony, but the area in the 'middle'). I have a more extensive list of the reasons I like it here.
