The Nazi analogy is only used because it's emotionally charged. It makes no sense objectively.

Again, there are similarities. Even if there are situations outside of Israel that more closely resemble Nazism, this remains true.

Claiming that I kill Christian babies to make Matzot from their blood would have the same effect. Do you think that would be a legitimate claim as well?

I have no idea what you do with Christian babies. Religion is a terrible thing some times. So much hatred and violence comes from it, nothing would surprise me anymore.

I was talking about how you implied that the Israel media hides Chinese crimes and focuses on Israeli wrongdoings, which was just odd.

I never claimed they hide anything. Your media spends a considerable amount of time on your various conflicts with your neighbours that the rest of the world mainly receives a brief summary of. Maybe I am exposed to more commentary on the situation in China because there is a large amount of immigration from China happening here in Canada. If you are claiming that you aren't exposed to any propaganda at all, then we must be dealing with a different interpretation of what propaganda is.

In any case, you are claiming that you are constantly bombarded with accusations of being a Nazi. I haven't seen any of that in the media or otherwise here. There is almost universal support for Israel here among our politicians. Steven Harper (our prime minister) makes a weekly speech about how wonderful Israel is, and how we will support them no matter which neighbouring country they wish to destroy. He called the destruction of Lebanon "measured and justified", when even the Americans were saying you went too far.

It is taboo to say anything bad about Israel at all among politicians. That is the propaganda that I deal with, and it disgusts me.

This also disgusts me.

Taking photographs. Imagine that, here in Israel. Who the hell does he think he is documenting our crimes?

There really aren't very many of those people around. Well, unless you have your head stuck firmly in US soil.

In Canada it's call AOL Canada they don't expand it to "America Online Canada" so perhaps "AOL Europe" or something.

• It's not practical to drive a two-wheeler on anything remotely resembling ice or snow (well, unless you're really crazy). Four wheels = year-round practictacality.

• Drive a motorcycle at 40 degrees F for a minute or two, and you'll be incredibly appreciative of the plastic that keeps 100% of the wind off you, keeping you from freezing right away.

• Okay, so you wear some very warm gear whenever it gets remotely cold, or if there's a chance you'll be out at night. And you wear your full-face helmet, of course. If you're a geek and value your typing fingers, you wear leather gloves at all times. And even when it's warm out, you might be inclined to wear something to protect you from a body-length scab in case you take a tumble. Now: count up the time it takes to put all that on before you leave your house every time, and the time to take it off whenever you arrive. Compare to being able to just jump in a car (and instantly having all that protection around you) and going.

• With both hands on the handlebars and a full-face helmet over your head, it's very difficult or impossible to do even tiny tasks outside of driving... answering an importent cellular call, taking a sip of pop, jotting down an idea that occured to you, looking for a map at the last minute, etc. And as hard as it might be to take home groceries in a Smart car, it's doubly difficult on a motorcycle, if for no other reason than that weight balance and stability are extremely important on a two-wheeler where your grocery bags are exposed to the wind.

Even Wal Mart tryies to pass themselves off as Canadian (anyone else out there think that maple leaf in Wal Mart's Canadian advertising is stupid?).

I could insert a huge rant now about how Canadians are smart enough to know what the "A" stands for and that it really ticks us off but I think I'll watch my Talking To Americans one hour special bootleg instead. :)
