Re:It's never too late...
He's attending a liberal arts college. He didn't say he was a liberal arts major.
Such places often have science curricula and grant science degrees.
Here is an example of such:

Re:!embryonic
That is part of why I doubt it, especially since we are talking about mammals & not amphibians, so they don't have "equivelant" stages
Way off. Embryology is very heavily conserved, such that while there are clear differences, there are also clear similarities. An egg gets fertilized to make a one cell stage, cell division makes a hollow space called the blastula stage, the part that becomes the embryo is one cell layer thick. A pocket forms that becomes the gut, that's the gastrula stage. The part of the embryo that becomes the central nervous system makes a tube, that's the neurula stage.
After that point, things start to diverge more, but up until that point the two do have the same stages.
Here are some pictures of blastulas.

As you can see, quite similar. There are certainly equivalent stages.
Here's a wiki page on "embryo" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Embryo) Notice it says just "animals," many places and doesn't specify which species? It's not laziness.
Maybe you should take his class?

Re:Scalpels not swordsFrom 2003, we have 10-23% rape statistics, some raped multiple times. The verall treatment of victims and their accusations is simply mind numbing. Further, about 2/3 women in the study reported sexual harassment. I have to wonder why the nation isn't boiling over this.
This doesn't make it ok of course, but to put it into context here are the statistics for colleges, which are more-or-less the same age group as people in the military:
http://abacus.bates.edu/admin/offices/scs/salt7.html * One out of four women will be sexually assaulted on a college campus.
* One out of eight women will be raped while in college. -
You sure about that...
She looks like a cross between Adam Sandler and Will Farrell playing Janet Reno. And... well she plays Field Hockey.... Draw your own conclusions.

Re:real FPShooter simulation
Do you have any sources to back that up?
Oh, for Christ's sake. I hope, for your own sake, that before you hit high school, or should you make it that far, college or university, that you learn how to do basic research. Typing 'roman practice sword' into Google returns, for example, this:Roman soldiers practiced sword combat with wooden swords that were twice as heavy as common ones. The reason for this was that when they started to carry the common swords they were much lighter and this helped them to act with greater precision and force at times of action.
Further examination of the google results for the above mentioned search even reveal that the Romans had a word for it:RUDIS - A practice sword made of wood
But, no, of course not. It's a VERY bad idea. After all, what did the Romans know? It's not like they conquered the world, or influenced the organization and training of pretty much any successful professional army since, right? Nope, nosirree Bob. Thanks for clearing that up. By the way, if you're looking for a wonderful primer on Roman life and military, not to mention history, but in a fun to read format, assuming you like to read, try The Dream of Eagles cycle (or, for you Americans, The Camulod Chronicles by Jack Whyte. -
Ease up on the post-production there, fellas...Simple bumper music between segments is quite enough, thank you.
Also: the sooner you can take live callers, the better. I hosted a few talk shows on my college radio station. It was a lot more interesting when outside listeners called in to debate issues; without callers, my friends and I just ended up verbally harrassing each other on the air - while a lot of fun for us, this got boring to listen to very quickly.
