Got to stay competitive.
[Yahoo!] is therefore censoring more than its Chinese competitor Baidu.
That's would be like IBM packaging a can of Zyclon B with every punchcard machine sale to the Nazis -
Re:Read "Bringing Down the House"
Or, read "Positively Fifth Street" for an excellent telling of a poker tale. Jim McManus takes us on an adventure where he uses a magazine advance on an article to buy his way into the WSOP. He comes in sixth, I beleive. The article he's writing is about the murder of Teddy Binion, late of the Binion family, owners (until recently) of the Horseshoe, where the WSOP takes place. Two engrossing stories intertwined.

Re:Historical strips! The main reason we can't find the originals anymore is because the newspapers have been discarded. The libraries screwed up and threw out the papers after microfilming everything, in the name of preserving "intellectual content" and "saving shelf space".
Note that microfilm is black & white only and often of poor quality.
You can read more about it in Nicholson Baker's controversial "Double Fold", excerpts at nytimes.com or bookreporter.com.

A Good Biography
One good biography I read on Einstein was Einstein in Love. It doesn't get to heavy into scientific details, but instead is full of rich descriptions of all the people and relationships in Einstein's troubled younger years, and the time leading up to his theories. A very entertaining and interesting read. It also touches on other famous Scientists of the day.

Body of SecretsFor anyone who wants to know more about the NSA's inner workings and history, read Body of Secrets and The Puzzle Palace by James Bamford.
Body of Secrets is a captivating book, The Puzzle Palace, I considered somewhat dry. These two books however are the best intelligence available on the best intelligence agency that we can legally get our hands on.

Good book ....
Atlantis Found by Clive Cussler
It's a James-Bond-like book that includes the spear and a plot to end the world.
