Re:Agent Smith was Right
Or, you can go back a little bit to William Burroughs ---

"My basis theory is that the written word was literally a virus that made spoken word possible. The word has not been recognized as a virus because it has achieved a state of stable symbiosis with the host...(This symbiotic relationship is now breaking down for reasons I will suggest later.)Is the virus then simply a time bomb left on this planet to be activated by remote control? An extermination program in fact? In its path from full virulence to its ultimate goal of symbiosis will any human creature survive? Is the white race, which would seem to be more under virus control than the black yellow and brown races, giving any indication of workable symbiosis?"

Re:Viewpoint from an American in China
America's finest news source reports:CIA's 'Facebook' Program Dramatically Cut Agency's Costs .
But more seriously, there are some tenuous public associations at one remove - early Facebook investor Breyer served on the board of the National Venture Capital Association with Gilman Louie from In-Q-Tel, which is the (or at least the least secret) VC arm of the CIA. This is a very weak link but it seems to be the best anybody's been able to find so far. Google has much stronger links with In-Q-Tel, having bought Keyhole from them. (Facebook, the CIA, and You
While the intelligence agencies may not have started Facebook, there is no reasonable doubt that they use it for data mining.

Lack of Oxygen
Now this is just weird:
How do you “trigger” an invention?
A lack of oxygen is very important.A lack? Isn’t that dangerous?
It’s very dangerous. I get that Flash just 0.5 sec before death. I remain under the surface until this trigger comes up and I write it down with a special waterproof plexiglas writing pad I invented. From This longer article

hippiehate
This blog is for "nerds" as it says right, so i assume that the hippie hate comes from nonhippie-nerds? I guess nerds need to reflect the abuse they received in school onto hippies. I don't claim to be either, but I don't dis either anyhow. Here is an awesome article on Psychic Warfare that actually offers evidence of EMFs affecting pyschic abilities. http://www.brainsturbator.com/articles/psychic_warfare_from_1981_2008/ read that and then tell me that the "hippies are just stoned out of their minds and not in touch with reality." Seriously, being sensitive to the world is not a flaw, but a gateway towards superpowers. heard of a faraday cage? "When you're inside [a Faraday cage], a psychic, for example, has their performance increased by a thousand fold. A Faraday cage shields you from the electromagnetic radio waves, allowing only extremely low frequency (E.L.F.) magnetic waves to get through. I don't think there's a psychic warfare research lab that doesn't make use of them today." --Andrija Puharich, random online interview

Re:Interesting repercussions
So, instead of using rational thought and evidence to decide what theory is correct, you're going to use your "gut" feeling to make the determination? Sounds a little like what the relgionists, that you're so quick to deride, like to do.
The 100 trillion life forms that reside in my gut have faith in my ability to provide for them, why should I not listen to their prayers?
More than 500 different species of bacteria exist in our bodies, making up more than 100 trillion cells.

Re:I can relate...
You joke, but Nobel laureate Kary Mullis designed the Polymerase Chain Reaction with the help of insights gained on LSD. Apparently Francis Crick had some help from LSD in visualizing the double helix too.
