Everything you need to know to get a professional PVR for free, and as a bonus you will have some free time to spend hanging out with females instead of debugging your homebrew POS.

Re:Mac Mini Cluster??
1.) 1 X 2300 5*500
Actually, as other people have pointed out, you can get them for $450. -
Re:Mac Mini Cluster??
No, 5*$450 = $2250 That is cheaper than $2300.

Re:So how much is a MythTV?
Well, considering you can get a new tivo box for $80, you would have to get some pretty dang cheap hardware to beat that with MythTV.

IE is loosing market share
At least from the statistics of my site, IE has dropped from 95% to around 75% in the last year and a half. Netscape varients are up to about 20%.
Maybe this means we will start to see some more innovations to recapture market share. -
Memory sticks are cheap
I don't know why there is all of this talk against Memory sticks. You can get a 128MB Memory Stick for as low as $11, they are more compact, and they are just as fast as any other media.
-
Re:Hmmm...
Actually, Memory Sticks are pretty cheap if you know where to look. Get a 128MB Lexar Memory stick for $11 (I know its not a mem stick duo, but it still cheap)

Re:Not always
Actually, Devsdeals.com regularly has 180GB and 200GB drives for less than $1/GB. Usually requires a rebate to get that price.

Re:Kinda expensive
Considering this deal to be had at dell right now. I'd have to agree. # Celeron 1.6GHz, 256MB RAM, 20GB HD for $595.

Re:Yet for $699...
Here is how to get the same computer from Dell for under $600.

Re:Sony
memory sticks are expensive
I disagree with your numbers.

128 MB memory sticks can be found quite easily for ~$30, and that is pretty much the same price for 128 MB CompactFlash.
hard to get
What do you mean by that? They are available almost everywhere I shop online.
and only work in Sony devices.
Not true- several companies (including Samsung and Pioneer to name a few) manufacture devices that use Memory stick.
That said, my support for memory sticks has dropped a lot after Sony announced that the sticks larger than 128 MB might not be compatible with existing memory stick devices. -
Re:No thanks RIAA,already gave at
Hmm, I've never even paid for a CDR and I've bought hundreds of them. Check out devsdeals.com because they always list CDR deals for free or better. That way, if the RIAA is getting any money, it sure as hell isn't coming from you.

Re:Rebates suck
Devsdeals.com always has a bunch of deals where you can get that kind of stuff for free, or even get paid to get it, after a rebate.
Its a small price to pay to get a bunch of stuff for free. I've gotten thousands of dollars worth of stuff for free or better in the last year, and have never had a problem with the rebate. Rebates are my friend. -
Re:Copyrighting Prices
I run a Deals Website. Does this basically mean that a retailer can sue me if they don't like the kind of business I'm sending them? I don't see very many independent web sites (like mine) fighting big corporate lawyers from the likes of Wal-Mart. Something has got to change.
