Dr Bonner's liquid soap. Most stores will have it in their organic section.

Re:I have nothing to contribute to this discussion
Sorry, I have ran into too many people who believe those things without knowing the science behind it.

Re:That Analogy Falls Apart
I thought this was interesting so just went to wikipedia's hemp page, which tells me hemp nut is around 30% protein by mass.
This information is cited in Wikipedia as sourced from http://www.wcranchohemp.com/info.php, which states the information is sourced from http://www.thehempnut.com/, which is a site that sells hemp foods. The data no longer appears to be there though, so I am not sure exactly how it was gathered. A quick Google indicates that data has been spread all over the Internet as seems to form the basis of most nutritional assumptions, so YMMV with the data. This and this have slightly different numbers that seem to agree.
Not sure if there's some sort of official authority for this sort of data that is reliable though !

Re:It's okay
Yeah, yeah I get your point
:) Hemp oil is a very nutritious [PDF] oil, though. It has all the essential amino acids and so is a complete protein - great for vegetarians like moi. 30% of the RDA of Vitamin E in a table spoon, plus it's low in saturated fat and high in "good" fats/Omega-3,6,9. It has other benefits as well (no, nothing psychotropic). It lasts 2-3 months refrigerated. (Much longer than say walnut oil, but not as long as vegetable oil.) Plus, oils with a low burning point have many uses, such as gently sautéing vegetables or fish, and in salad dressing. Obviously you wouldn't want to deep fry with it or extra virgin olive oil, but I for one am glad there are so many different flavors and uses of the diverse oils we have. I really wish hemp oil was cheaper though - it's a great way to add more nutrition to your diet (i.e. legalize ganja already dammit). -
Re:Unfortunately
"Ever read the labels on those?"
Oh, yeah! Some years ago, the Dr. Bronner's company was at a Central Square (Cambridge, Massachusetts) festival, giving away samples and posters of the The Label. I have my poster laminated and it hangs in the bathroom.
I will never lack for bathroom reading material ever again!
Somewhere on some hardrive here, I also have a PDF of The Label.
ALL GLORY TO GOOGLE!
Here's the URL for the PDF! -
Re:new subject line..
Nor is it in the 'soap with a sermon'.

Re:Unfortunately
"Over the last few years it's become harder to find hand soap (at least the liquid type) that isn't antibacterial"
I've been using Dr. Bronner's liquid and bar soaps for years. They contain NO specifically "anti-bacterial' ingrediants.
I use Dr. Bronner's soaps for handwashing, shower and shampoo. Nothing else. Yes, it's expensive, but the label DOES encourage you to "DILUTE! DILUTE!" It's genuinely "all natural" and not tested on lab animals.
For handwashing, I find a tiny squirt of liquid, about half the diameter of a bottle cap, produces more than enough suds to do a thorough job of cleaning my hands.
The bar soaps are just as good, too. -
Essenes of Greek?
I have been reading too many Doctor Bronner's Castile Soap labels!

All One or None!
It sounds to me like you've been reading labels from Dr. Bronner's soap. ("WE'RE ONE! ALL-ONE! EXCEPTIONS ETERNALLY? ABSOLUTELY NONE!")

Re:Nice to hold.
Design any consumer device to match the parameters of a bar of soap, and it will be loved...
I use Dr. Bronner's Liquid Soap, you insensitive clod!

Re:Hmmm....
I use Dr Bronner's soaps. They are organic glycerine soaps made from hemp oil. They put back the oils that normal detergent soaps take from your skin. My favorite, peppermint, is also great to wake you up in the morning. It's the best soap, and it gives you something to read on the bottle.

Re:Nolan Fathered Steve P Jobs!
Do you write the labels for Dr. Bronner's soap?
-
Re:Moral ABCWhen in doubt, check the source!
You can download the labels and everything. Whoa...

Re:Worthless
Aw, why are you complaining? Since Dr Bronner is no longer with us, we have to get our crackpot health theories where we can find them.
