ePost
Canada Post already has something called ePost, which makes most regular postal mail obsolete now. It sounds to me like they're helping to put traditional postal mail out of business anyway.
I'd like to have no mailbox altogether. The notion that I have a "postal" address (which everybody wants for some reason) that a human being drives a car to so they can fill it with unwanted matter printed on processed dead trees is completely ridiculous. Give me ePost for bills and a local post office for packages and I'm good.
What's your address? 127.0.0.1. Same as yours.

Re:Likewise...
In Canada, the post office has a service called epost http://www.epost.ca/ that is offered fee of charge and is used by banks as the bill presentment layer. Once you setup your account, you either access it through your online banking application OR you can access the site directly.
Epost conserves your bills for 7 years online with an 'electronic postmark' for the date.
Haven't had a glitch yet.

People are willing to pay for this?
I don't know about that... Up here in Canada(For those of you who don't know its that place north of you) our postal system has been doing that for years. We call it http://www.epost.ca They will put all of our bills and registered mail online for us so they dont come to our house. They'll even do pay check stubs online. The only thing they won't do is personal mail.

Re:paymybills.com
If you live in Canada just sign up for ePost. It's Canada post's answer to this. It's free and government run so your bills are hopefully in better hands. (cross your fingers on that one). Anyway it works great for me and vendors like to use it because it's cheaper for them.

In Canada: epost.ca
I don't know how many people use it, but in Canada there's a service offered by Canada Post that does something like this. You log into an https site and securely view and pay bills that are aggregated from various companies. The companies themselves interface with epost (in a secure manner, I'm assuming), so this is actually far more secure than having someone scan in mail manually.
Also, it's free (I'm assuming the various companies pay for it, since they'll no longer have to pay the costs of paper mail)

...and for the Canadians in the audience...
...here's the link to Canada's equivalent service, run by Canada Post, that's been around for almost 3 YEARS.

Re:Canada Post...They spent who knows how many millions developing and promoting a service allowing me to pay my bills online. Too bad every major Canadian bank already provides this service!
Thats not what the service is. Epost.ca allows you to receive your bills and stuff online, not just pay (saves the trees). And I believe it was developed with a business partner. Canada Post Corporation also now has a mandate to be self sufficient.
