Broad brush
And politicians don't really care about their constituents or the country.
Awfully broad brush you are painting with there. Yes that is too often true but there are people in positions of political power who actually do genuinely care about the people they were elected to lead/serve. Such people are to be treasured when found.
And SJWs really don't care about equality.
A) The term "SJW" is lazy nonsense catchall pejorative like "hipster" that means almost nothing and accurately describes almost no one. Including your use here.
B) Equality and equity are not the same thing. You're right they don't care about equality because equality isn't necessarily what's fair or necessary. You can charge a rich person and a poor person the same tax rate and that is equal but it isn't equitable because 20% of a poor person's income has a much bigger impact on their life than 20% of a rich person's. Just because something is the same for everyone doesn't mean it is fair or good. -
Re: Alternate headline
And someone made a comment about adopting parts of a culture. That's called "cultural appropriation" and it's currently a Very Bad Thing. It used to be that nobody cared if the owner of a Mexican restaurant was Mexican; today, if you try to "appropriate" Mexican culture by serving Mexican food you are boycotted and forced to apologize. That happened in our fair town not long ago.

If the fact that people are fucking starving to death for lack of any nutrition. And these cry bullies bitch about where the food might have come from and whop cooks it. Anyone who whines cries and bawls and bitches about Cultural appropriation is the exact definition of an overly coddled child, who freak out when their every whim is not satisfied. Almost beneath contempt.

Re:EVEN more reasonable
You just proved there's no moron like an old moron.
Barbara, I am withoug doubt the bigest moron on the planet. It's no insult when I accept the charge.
Then again......
http://www.pamf.org/teen/abc/s...
This really clearly supports my incorrect notions.
I have noticed the my cites are often not read so I'll quote a little from the article.
"For instance, if someone is drunk or high on drugs, then that person cannot give consent. This means that even if someone seems eager to engage in sexual behavior, doing so can legally be considered sexual assault or rape if he or she is intoxicated.
http://everydayfeminism.com/20... Here one from: http://teenadvice.about.com/od...
"Another area of confusion on the date rape topic is intoxication. Bottom line, if a girl is intoxicated she cannot consent to sex and you could be charged with rape. It does not matter whether you knew she was intoxicated, it doesn’t matter if you were intoxicated too, all that matters is that she was not in a state of mind to consent and therefore it is rape. If you get a girl drunk or high and then “get together” with her you have committed a sexual assault.
Again, it doesn’t matter if you are drunk or high as well. Your diminished abilities do not negate your responsibilities. A good rule to follow; if you are under the influence do not have sex. Now say you really had no idea a girl was intoxicated and that she truly appeared to be a willing partner, what then?
A drunk woman cannot give consent, and if she appears to but she is drunk, it is rape. If the male is drunk as well, he miraculously is still raping her. Damn white male privilege straike again.
I know, I know, you do not have the time to read it.
So yes, it's moronic, Yes I am pathetically stupid.
Your name calling is indicitive of bubblethink. I thought better of you, and sad to see that once again I am wrong.

Re:So what
By and large, for many years, men just went along with it. But then a problem developed. Now that sitting with your legs too far apart makes you a symbol of rapist culture (man spreading) http://everydayfeminism.com/20... [everydayfeminism.com] it has become pretty clear that women by and large simply do not like men, and a majority of them hate men. From this article http://femmagazine.com/2015/03... [femmagazine.com] - “Manspreading” is essentially part of rape culture."
You are taking very fringe ideas here and saying that this is just what is considered mainstream. It's not, even in liberal circles.

Re:So what
If they make it so hard to bring up children and you can see their future as nothing more than burning on the greed driven pyres of the rich and greedy, why play the game.
Your attitude is not unique. Many men have chosen to drop out of that game. In a huge social experiment started in the 1980's woen were taught form a very young age that men are rapists, and pedophiles - all of them, and young males were taught that anything a woman thinks is sexual harassment - is by definition sexual harassment, and "you better not go raping women you rapist pedophile".

Let's face it - if the way you sit causes a female outrage, and she is validated if she thinks you are the equal of a person who would force sexual intercourse on her. She hates men badly.
So we had that problem. Most men have no intention of physically violating women, yet they have been part of the all men are evil cultural experiment. Given that most divorces are initiated by women, and the initiator almost always wins the lion's share of the proceedings, and most marriages end in divorce. A normal heterosexul guy might be forgiven if he just bags the whole thing. One thing is for certain - you end up with a lot more money in the bank.

Re:Oh God, Why Hath Thou Forsaken Us
I know somebody who is planning to take women's studies and is obsessed with "rape culture" and the like
You know how people have been saying that rape is about power, not sex? That is SUCH a lie, but because it sounds good, people have bought into it, and the whole "power dynamic between the sexes" narrative. Easier to do that than to acknowledge that some people think with the wrong head. How do you deal with that? Castration? So it's far easier for everyone to say it's about power instead
...The very definition of "rape culture" is fluid, and so non-specific, with most examples having nothing to do with rape, that it's ridiculous. Women being more afraid to walk alone at night than men is not an example of "rape culture."
The claim that "Publicly defending celebrities accused of rape just because they’re celebrities and ignoring or denouncing what the victim has to say" is not rape culture, because our culture rejects this. Just ask how many people are condemning Bill Cosby. Celebrity means nothing.
How about "Politicians distinguishing “legitimate rape” and stating that rape is “something that God intended to happen,” among other horrendous claims." The vast majority of our culture totally rejects that. Totally. We think people like Ted Cruz are idiots.
And then there's "The victimization of hospital patients, especially people with mental health issues and the elderly, by the very people who are there to protect them." Most of this is financial gain or physical violence - not rape. And that's what hidden cameras placed by relatives are showing.
"Supporting athletes who are charged with rape and calling their victims career-destroyers." Most people don't do this, so no, it's not part of any "rape culture."
These were just a part of this list.
Rape is not a culture - it's an act by an individual to have non-consensual sex with another individual. This include children, who are not capable of giving legitimate consent. It happens a lot, and the stats that say 1 out of 4 are, if anything, too low. But that doesn't make it part of our culture - if it were, we would see it as normal, not condemning it for the crime and tragedy that it is.

Re: Oh, Okay
I have long stated that Affirmative Action is broken. I applaud its desire to fix a real problem, but the net effect is reverse discrimination. Best qualified is best qualified whether male, female, black, blue, brown, yellow, white, or orange.
There is no such thing as "reverse racism":
http://everydayfeminism.com/2014/10/history-of-black-white-relations/
I guess "best qualified" is why Whites dominate in the CEO suite:
http://www2.ucsc.edu/whorulesamerica/power/diversity_among_ceos.html
It also must be the reason that the US Congress does not look like the US racially:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-fix/wp/2015/01/05/the-new-congress-is-80-percent-white-80-percent-male-and-92-percent-christian/
It also must be why there has not been a noticeable rise in minorities in the Forbes 400 Richest Americans list:

All I can say is I really want to get some of whatever you are smoking! -
Re:Can someone explain rape culture to me?
On the assumption you're incapable of using Google, this is a reasonable start.
