Reminds me that the last time such a directive came down from DOT, New York City . Which was a bit of a shame. A minor issue in the grand scheme of things but just another sign of the marching blandicization of modern society.

Actually in New York street vents are all over the place. Knowing what street vents are separates the real NYers (and civil engineers) from the rest.

The great thing about the Google Satellite maps is how easy it is to find the old ROWs and follow them around.

I have never been there but I have seen haunted stuff before and I am a believer. However the picture looks fake. Its the only one I could find. A simple search on seaview and haunted brings up quite a few hits though.
