    Obligatory Futurama reference:

    If you've seen Futurama, then you should've heard of
    the wily "Gravity", who will foil all your plans to build an atmosphere on Mars.

    You can't hold air without Gravity on your side. So start saving to build a diamond shell around the planet, or simply accumulate enough asteroids to bulk up the mass to the point of restraining an atmosphere... either way, LUDICROUSLY EXPENSIVE.

    You're the one who brought up "biodomes". I had only said "enclosed habitats", which are a much broader category, and include not only non-dome shapes, but totally different approaches to life.

    Darl says that the GPL opposes the Constitution, but then goes on to explain it by providing lots of details that entirely fail to be relevant. He can somewhat conclusively argue that RMS, the FSF, and Red Hat believe a bunch of tree-hugging hippie crap that's opposite to what he believes.

    However, that's much different from what the GPL *does*, which is to use copyright law to attempt "To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts" by making it easy to publish software that's free as in speech (with other positive side effects) and know that the software you're using is free so you can do even more things with it and not have to hire bunch of lawyers telling you that that it's safe to touch before adding value to it.

    I thought an AK was a "rifle", not a "gun". A "rifle" is a tool used by people to kill people. A "gun", especially a "fucking gun", is an appendage built into adult male mammals, used for the elimination of urine and for copulation.
