Re: TiVo for RadioCheck out Radio YourWay. It records up to 4 hours of radio programming (either live or scheduled) for playback later.
Also, some of the iRiver MP3 players with built-in tuners will record broadcasts.

FireWire, USB
"The RJ45 connector is a universal outlet," he said. "It's the only one identical in Asia, Europe and the US."
The same is true for FireWire and USB, and those are far more widely available. In fact, USB is increasingly becoming the standard for recharging portable devices, with USB power cables for most PDAs and cell phones available. FireWire might be better for this than USB because it can deliver more power, but maybe the USB standard will catch up.
You can even get a USB toothbrush.
The RJ-45 connectors used with Ethernet really don't do it for me; I think both USB and FireWire connectors are far better designed. I think POE (Power over Ethernet) will remain a niche market. -
Re:They just blame Digital Photography.
did any of you cats check out the article about this film store in new york?
They started putting up signs that said "Digital Cameras cause Strokes" and shit like that. Not sure if it was a joke or not.
They just went out of business.

Re:Cool ... now what about the micro?
What an excellent educational application. It has me thinking of setting up a webcam of one of those not-so-new-fangled Intel Microscope's. Only question is
... of what?
I would use it to watch beer fermenting, but that's just me. -

It also makes me wonder if there is any way for the Joe Q. Average geek to take feeds from some of that old NASA hardware floating about in space and streaming that online.

Who is Phillip M. Torrone
And what else does P. M. Tyronne endorse?
XBox live, for one...and the iPod...and large doses of Flash, apparently. This gentleman is a one-man press release :)
