I don't trust Google apps
I would mind this less if Google was known for care in developing its client code. I specifically remember uninstalling Google Desktop last time due to its consumption of system resources and nasty vulnerabilities.

Re:Ok everyone....
Google Desktop embedding IE is unrelated to this piece of news.
It's to do with how Google Desktop has a webserver available bound to localhost, and only available with a key generated on the local machine. An IE plugin injects a link onto the Google homepage to go directly to the local webserver. This link obviously includes a key.
A mistake in how IE parses CSS allowed the extraction of this key, by importing the Google News page (with specially-crafted query) as a CSS file, such that the key would be available on examination of the imported "stylesheet", and therefore gives an attacker the key for the local webserver.

Re:Exploit
Don't you mean as soon as it could run windows?

Re:Firmware; movie selection
There is a x86 emulator ported for PSP (http://www.hacker.co.il/psp/bochs/). It's not fast but you can run Linux/Win95 on it.
There are also plenty of direct ports of games to PSP, like Quake, Doom, Hexen and emulators for most older consoles. After looking at the two "scenes" it just seems like the PSP homebrew scene is a lot larger. (That doesn't mean that the DS scene is useless though.) -
Re:That's great...
..but does it run Linux?
Sure.

A fun game..
From http://www.hacker.co.il/psp/bochs/:
In windows, mouse handling is extremely difficult. I suspect it has something to do with the "boost" feature windows has. Once you get the mouse moving it will keep moving in that direction even when you're trying to move to a different direction. The solution is to counter the movement by moving to the opposite direction. It's sort of like trying to push the mouse the other way in order to stop it.
Wow, this sounds like a fun game in and of itself! :) -
Re:RTFA ... DOS not Windows
"The story title is incorrect. The emulator runs DOS and not Windows. Its not as easy to get Windows running on PSP I guess."
Step 1) Click link.
Step 2) Remove head from ass. -
Re:Sure it can emulate but how fast?

Windows 95 actually runs quite well but don't expect it to be a speed demon. It takes about 10 minutes to boot but afterwards it's pretty usable. I was able to do things like: open "My computer" and browse the virtual hard drive, complete a whole game of Minesweeper and run various other applications. Now you too can get your Minesweeper fix on the go :) -
The creators site is here

Well done, you've managed to post a link to a site that has nothing to do with the creator and is widely despised in the PSP community, nevermind being full of pop-ups and ads.
