Re:Standard power cable? You mean USB?
Yeah, but have you looked at any cell phones lately? There's a bazillion-and-one types of power connectors and chargers. iGo has even been making a business out of all the chaos and confusion.

Replace all those chargers
Buy an iGo charger system and chuck (well, maybe just box away) all the ones that it is able to replace.
Of the list given, it appears that they have charger tips for everything but the Canon Powershot, the Cowan iAudio X5L and the Logitech MX1000.
I can personally testify that they have tips for the Nintendo DS and DS-Lite, and I've used this system extensively (except for laptops).
Not really the cheapest option, but probably the one easiest on the sanity.
You'll probably need to get two charger systems:
- For the laptop (due to higher power requirements).
- For everything else.
Check with the company— they'll be able to tell you what you should need.
Radio Shack also sells these, but I've never seen them carry the heavy-duty ones (the ones needed for laptops and other high-power devices).
They also have options to allow charging of multiple devices off of a single charger, but I've never messed with those so I don't know how well they work.

Use the iGo
It's a little pricey, but you buy one wall adapter, one car adapter, and all the right tips. Then you only have to swap the tips before charging. http://www.igo.com/

Re:Serious issue!
iGo chargers?
Glad someone mentioned this. My girlfriend has an iGo charger at her office, which has survived a few different phones just by swapping the connector tips.

iGo universal charger
I use the iGo universal charger for all my devices. Works great.

Already available today
igo already has this technology today. You can get them at RadioShack, as well as online.

Easy!
I use Igo and USB cables to charge my devices. Igo junk is available at a lot of retailers. There are varying power source and wattage ratings of the chargers, including air/car/110~/220~ power supplies that automatically adjust voltage and current, and can charge four or more devices at once if necessary. It is based on tip adapters that deliver power specific to their respective devices. They are pretty fast to make new connectors.
There are also the alkaline/lithium battery powered auxillury chargers, most of which are universal with multiple connecters. You can also use the solar chargers, most of which include a DC car socket.
I think that sooner than later, everything small will charge from USB and everything larger will have automatically switching power supplies that can run from any typical power source without adaptation. -
Re:Universal Adapters.
Frequent-flying coworkers of mine recommend the iGo. It costs more than any one power adapter, but the idea is that you can replace all your power adapters with it. They sell it online and at Radio Shack.

Re:Ugh, not another charging option.USB chargers have become ubiquitous as a standard charging mechanism. I carry one laptop charger, one wall USB charger, and a USB auto adaptor, which manages my laptop, phone, ipod, and PDA (when I carry it) under almost any circumstances.
If you REALLY want an all-in-one device charger check out http://www.igo.com/. Buy one charger and a bunch of different power tips. I've found, however, that the extra USB charger lets me do a quick recharge when I don't want to dig out the notebook, or let's me charge one device in it while the notebook's ports are in use.

Re:Nice, but...
check out igo.com. They sell powering accessories that work for just about all your devices and can be used in the car cig lighter or airplane powre or wall socket. Cool!

Its called iGo
Mobility Electronics aka iGo sells the universal charger you're looking for. Buy one converter and a tip to match each of your electronic devices. They even sell a base model which can plug into AC/Car/Plane, so you're even less likely to be without power. I've got one for my Dell laptop, and tips for my PDA and cellphone. Nifty and convenient, but expensive ($100 for the converter, $10 for the tips).

Tried one of these
Tried this? Looks like it'll power everything from your plane seat without the battery to carry around.

If you fly oftenI usually use either a
- Airline power adapter
or - my superlong electrofuel battery
Downside to the airline powercord is that the only major airline to deploy the jacks throughout coach seating is USAir, and they went bankrupt (what's to happen is anyone's guess). The electrofuel's been losing some charge, but it's still rather sweet, giving me far more than I would ever need (even when I fly to europe).

Solar power for a laptop
I remember seeing an ad in a catalog from igo.com (they carry accessories for laptops, PDAs and cellphones) that showed a solar panel that was the size of a large novel. You unzip it and it opens up to have two solar panels for charging your cell batteries or your laptop. Good Luck. On a whim I went just now and here is the link:
