Re:Unfortunately
It's absolutely nothing wrong with taking the money instead of moral/ethics, but the fact that Google had been doing no evil and suddenly pulled a U-Turn because of a lucrative market reflects how Google has changed.
And check out the "Google In Damage Control" story here, everything's changing. -
Re:Usefool
Done!
Btw, if you are into clear case mods and can see all the other moving/glowing parts of your PC, then this is a cool mod... but it's definitely not worth the risk!
Sure, a lot of people (myself included) have run old drives with the cover off when ready to chuck them anyway or in an emergency have opened a drive, repaired it and had it survive long enough to get the data off safely.
However, who would really want to do this to a new drive / void the warranty / shorten the drive's life expectancy, blah, blah, blah... ?
Instead, I wonder when major hard disk manufacturers will start releasing drives with a clear top cover option? It didn't take long when it came to case modding for clear panels (and fish tanks) to start appearing from the factory...

Usefool
This guy deserves a usefool entry.
One day I'll get around to making a window for my CDROM, so that I can see what's going on when there's no CD inside. -
Re:Games
You should have not posted that iClod link. If you would have read their site agreement, you would have noticed the Do-Not-Slashdot ACT. Below is a quote for the punishment:
"Those who did not act swiftly or simply ignored the effectiveness of The Do-Not-Slashdot ACT had suffered the consequences of burnt-down server rooms and employment termination, just to name a few."
I should probably mention that the following sites are bad ideas because they make the ACT void (if anyone actually used them): Corel or Mirrordot. -

I think babies learn everything better than adults
I think babies learn everything better than adults. I will stick to my 'brain is still empty' theory
:) As we grow, we have more spyware/adware installed, and things tend to go more slowly.
With these new findings, maybe a super computer can be built with these analytical and statistical skills, then this computer can learn to speak like HAL.
nature.com is pretty slow now, given that it's using cgi-taf on a Dynapage.taf, obviously didn't read the Do-Not-Slashdot ACT 1996, so here's a coral link. -
Idea for Apple?
Maybe Apple can place a couple of these iPod "kiosks" in shopping malls, what's the better way to experience iPod mini with a giant iPod?
On a more serious note though, a real scary Halloween custume is Death framed inside a blue-tinted Window.
With so many images on one page, this guy obviously didn't read the Do-Not-Slashdot ACT 1996, here's a coral link just in case.
