Re:Here on Slashdot, SJW Work is Never Done
How do they not remember Jack Thompson? Anita Sarkeesian is just a boring rehash of the same crap Jack said with more of a sexual spin less of a violence spin.

Re:Ummm...
Check out this site, which has Thompson's own words. ALso note that Thompson's book Out of Harms Way is published by Tyndale House, which is publishing house well known for producing Fundamentalist Christian books such as Tim LaHaye's Left Behind.
Trust me, I wouldn't make such a comment without knowing what I'm talking about. -
Re:Buttt, but..,
How about this one?
I'm of the opinion that he has serious problems in reasoning and anger management, yet we should have all the "evidence" and statements he put forward as a testimony against the sort misinformation the anti-gaming people parrot. Sure, we can ignore him on Slashdot and other online venues, but this guy has friends in Fox News, and enough people watch that to become easily deceived. -
Re:LOOK!
You should report it before someone gets hurt.

Re:Dear Mr. Thompson,
Just had to say "you (and millions of right-wing conservatives)", didn't ya?
Last I time I checked, Hillary Clinton (NOT a right-wing conservative, in case you didn't know) shared the most similarities with Jack Thompson when it comes to violence in video games.
Thanks for the refreshing scent of partisan bullshit. -
Re:Bible?
> jack seems to completely ignore games such as God of War
Nothing more than a rather bland form letter at any rate: http://www.jackthompson.org/archives/index.htm#06_ 08_05_01
Aside from his odd little rant at the Maxis Porn Simulator (aka The Sims 2), Jack's videogaming bete noir has consistently been Rockstar Games, transferred to Take-Two at large. Before that it was 2 Live Crew (yes, he was behind the campaign of hounding them) -
Thompson Quotes
There are actually sites that collect Jack Thompson's mad rantings, Like http://www.jackthompson.org/.
Also he posts occasionally on (the excellent site)http://www.gamepolitics.com/, which always turns out to be fun.
