Pure cane soda:

It's pretty good too... -
Re:Nasty aftertaste
Jones is also using cane sugar now. I'm not sure if they ever used HFCS.

And I like it a great deal, especially the apple.
Their idea to put ordinary peoples photos on the label is brilliant.
I don't think I can get Boylans here yet but will check it out as they seem to have some more flavors than Jones. -

Cannot personally verify the Whole Food's brand. Another possible is Trader Joe's, but I haven't found any info on their brand, most of the forzen foods I buy from them are sugar though. Might be a couple others. -
Jones Soda??
I'm surprised nobody has mentioned http://www.jonessoda.com/
There is nothing like opening up a can of whoopass when you need it. http://www.jonessoda.com/files_new/energy.html

Re:Units of measure conversion?
Well, stealing from the Burning Library of Congress thread up above, we know that 1g of antimatter is equivalent to 0.23313375x10^14 joules. One can of Whoop Ass has 110 calories, which Google tells us is 460.24 joules. So, one Burning Library of Congress is roughly equal to 5.06548214x10^10 cans of Whoop Ass.
Sadly, Google can't convert to "Can you smell what The Rock is cookin'?"s -
Re:Flavor?
Cool Ranch Cola?
Sounds like a challenger to this stuff...
I'd love to see the results of a taste test between them though... -
Cola Wars
Sometimes I'm really upset by our divisive and angry Two Party System; it seems like nothing ever gets done. Other times I am very, very grateful that the government is not one gigantic unified son of a bitch, because then all those manipulative, controlling and totally evil tendencies would be aimed squarely at me.
Hmmm...what if it is aimed squarely at us and the interparty bickering such as this is simply to distract us from the fact that both parties pretty much taste like chicken?
Pepsi and Coke's "cola wars" campaigns did the same thing by squeezing out the small soda manufacturers and turning the soda market into what is basically a shared monopoly. If either one ever came out on top it'd be shut down but as long as there's two of them it's somehow okay and we forget about all the other flavors out there. -
Re:Download me, Bob...No, I actually checked the ingredient list... it has the crazy Guarana, Ginseng, and other natural stimulants... but they pulled the caffeine (which is just lower then Jolt in the non-Canadian version). Probably the best you can do on the Canadian market is Jones' Whoopass Cola, which has the natural stimulants AND the high-caffeine cola. Although, good 'ol Jolt is a better deal just because of the price. =^)

i've looked at love from both sides now. from win and lose, and still somehow...

Re:Red BullAre they allowed to sell Red Bull in the US? They sure aren't here in Canada... we can't even get caffinated Mountain Dew here. (My sister smuggled some Red Bull from the UK, tho... i think it's the only "energy drink" that has ever had an affect on me.)
BTW, for those who wonder whats up with the Mountain Dew, Canadian law looks at it like this: In dark drinks, coffee, cola, etc., Caffeine is considered a flavour enhancer. However, in light drinks, it's considered a drug, and has to be controlled as such. Thus, no Red Bull, and no caffeinated Mountain Dew.
However, for those who need a kick, Jones Soda's Whoopass is pretty powerful stuff... think Jolt meets XTC. =^)
