Layz working for me
Due to a disabled partner i've had to work from the living room Lay-z-boy a fair amount. They don't make the model we have any more (pity), the closest now looks to be The Carlyle Low Recliner/. Get a board that spans the arms and is deep enough, makes a fine desk to hold a laptop, though you will need to hold up your arms a bit maybe. Workout while you code.
FYI if you run into back issues or just want to relax even more get a LapDawg X4 and set it up to hold your laptop above your chest at an angle while lying on the floor, with a pillow behind your head. Best to have an Ottoman to prop up the feet. Worked great when I was recovering from a bulging lumbar disc and been great to stop that from coming back.

Re:When only the best will do..
I have a chair that my wife refers to as the Wall-E chair. I use it with a reading table to hold my laptop, a bluetooth keyboard, and a trackball that sits on the arm of the chair. Works a treat. The chair is something like this: http://www.la-z-boy.com/Produc...
It's ugly, the construction is pathetically bad, I've had to screw it back together with drywall screws, but it is quite comfortable, and doesn't look _completely_ awful. I'm sure you could come up with something nicer, though.

The best
The best, in my opinion, is a Lay-Z-Boy. I mean, can you really beat the Chill 2 Motor Massage/Heat Rocker with a built in cooler?. I don't think so. Get yourself some kind of swivel monitor/keyboard setup for easy access in any position and your day is golden.
Also, exercise, as others have mentioned. Otherwise your body will fall apart even WITH a 2 motor massage/heat rocker with built in cooler. -
Applied "Blade Runner" Technology?
When one ponders about the foundation of using DNA for anything, very, very few times will immigration be a believable application. But what can DNA normally be used for? For me, the first thing is Law Enforcement. Now if I look at DNA and immigration, and combine this with a growing acceptance of Interpol Criminal Data Basing, the logic becomes straightforward. Law Enforcement feels compelled to now get DNA, along with a Photo, and a Name. I think I will consider investing in the La-z-Boy Corporation. Because when Law Enforcement thinks they can solve crime by sitting in a comfortable chair, more, usually worse, crime occurs.

La Z BoyI can spend 10 very productive hours in a top of the line La Z Boy recliner working on a laptop. The lumbar support is excellent, the ability to lay back, then sit up, rock or sit sideways in the large chair is unparalleled. This chair will set you back $1000; but, I never feel tired nor have any joint issues after long periods of work in this chair. I have previously tried ergonomic chairs, straight backed wood chairs, and Lane recliners.
If only the chair had internal cable management, the power and network cable keep getting pinched by the recliner mechanism.

prior art
I would think that beer, remote controls and la-z-boy could claim prior art pretty easily.
