    Gator becomes Claria, Philip Morris becomes Altria, a con man changes the address of his scam mail order company. They still put out the same crap they always did, just preying on people who aren't aware that they changed their name...

    Kraft was owned by notorious tobacco company Philip Morris , until it was transferred to a "shell" parent company called Altria, no doubt to escape all the bad press associated with the Philip Morris brand..

    Keebler is owned by NABISCO!

    Keebler.com's brands page, I see no evidence of any affiliation with Kraft Foods, Nabisco's parent company. In turn, Kraft's parent company is Altria.

    I don't buy Nabisco because 1. I don't like to support big tobacco and big booze (two other divisions of Altria), and 2. I simply prefer Keebler's products to Nabisco's.

    One of the problems with transnational "diversified" companies is that they are virtually immune to boycotts. I got a fridge magnet from Adbusters the other day that shows all of these Kraft products and underneath the caption reads:

    Why are you buying your food from a tobacco company?

    Which of course is a reference to the fact that Kraft is now owned by Philip Morris Companies, Inc.
