Re:Grammar Troll
While in the strictest sense, data is the pluralised form of datum, following a running battle with my boss (a grammer whore), I've found many examples in which data is allowed as a 'single mass entity'. eg dictionary.com

no public schools
Although not constitutional, it is commonly accepted that there is to be a seperation of church and state. This means that there shouldn't be a religion/church which is funded by taxes. Wether you like it or not, secular humanism is a religion(def.4), and it is being taught in schools. Also, to a degree, atheism is taught in public schools, and this too is a religion (although perhaps not "established"). There is no reason my taxes should be paying for a muslim/christian/hindu/linus based school, so why should they be paying for a secular humanist school? Taxes shouldn't pay for it, hence the reason there should be no public schools. The solution is this: if you want your kids to go to school, pay their way. if you cant afford to, maybe some other people from your religion will help you out.

Fuck you, Jacques!

Re:You moron
Read a dictionary.

Re:right-wing whiner strategy?
Pictures of partial birth abortions and clinic horror stories are common propaganda for anti-choicers to scare people with.
It is about Christianity. A quick google for abortion wrong shows that most of the links are to Christian sites. If it's not about Christianity, then it's certainly about religion. I don't dislike lobbyists, but I do dislike the system that encourages politicians to pay more attention to special interests, as opposed to voters, of which lobbyists are a symptom.
Every human being hatched from an egg. It proves nothing, because nothing can be empirically proven if you are willing to question your senses, but it does make you look a little hypocritical if you've ever eaten scrambled eggs. I didn't that a human embryo was a chicken embryo, I said that it was indistinguishable from one, which means that it does not feel any more or less torment than any other embryo does when "murdered". Unless of course, it had a soul . But of course, this isn't about religion. -

"nano-componentry"?
"Componentry?" Er, what? I'm going to label this one a bullshit buzzword. It does not seem to appear in the dictionary, and the obligatory GoogleFight would seem to confirm that "components" is the accepted term.
Timothy, perhaps you are confused by standard English usage patterns. You see,
toilet -> toiletry and
bigot -> bigotry,
but
apple -> apples and
component -> components. -

Re:"Problem?"
Coerce doesnt mean "force", it means "pursuade"
I think you need to check your dictionary:
Coerce: tr.v. 1. To force to act or think in a certain way by use of pressure, threats, or intimidation; compel.
And isnt this jsut what a hell of a lot of industries do?! (Think car adverts, your old car is probably doing a fine job of moving you around).
Your argument is so fundamentally flawed, it's hard for me to know where to start.
First, no, it's not like what a hell of a lot of industries do. Unlike software, cars wear out. Perhaps if the car manufacturers didn't make spare parts, and prohibited anyone else from making them, so that you'd have to buy another car, then you *might* have something similar.
Second, if a car manufacturer was a monopoly, and did the same thing, then you'd be a little bit closer.
Third, if said monopoly car manufacturer didn't include a warranty, and knowingly sold defective products, you'd be even closer.
But you'd still be pretty far off.
Try again. -

Re:samba?
I'll feed this troll enough to point to this definition of samba which includes the program Samba. I've always associated it with the dance beat samba.
Please move on, nothing to see here. -
Re:There is a funny game in Germany..
My dictionary says that "schadenfreude" is also an english word.
Yes, it is a term used to describe a flawed entry in a bilingual dictionary. See: schadenfreude
Actually, Webster and other dictionaries do think schadenfreude is an English word taken from German, but what do they know? -
German vocabulary
Reading about this story makes one German word in particular spring to mind (no babelfish required either):
