    I was half expecting something cool like a mechanized ED-209 (a la robocop) but instead it looks like something out a 30's stop-motion animation or a charlie chaplin skit.

    The Japan Times has something interesting to add to the discussion;

    Reporters invited to a Tokyo demonstration Tuesday were instructed not to touch the two still-experimental robots for safety's sake.

    I just could not get OCP's ED209 out of my head.

    Aren't robots at least as much of a threat to as model rockets (or untappable wireless communication)?

    I mean, we've all seen the ED-209 and the T1000 go nuts, but I haven't seen any movies about model rockets going nuts yet.

    Are you saying RoboCop can't play soccer? Because, sir, I believe you are wrong! RoboCop can wrestle and I believe he'd be just as good at soccer.
