Oh, I don't know about that

A very good reason...
There is a reason. Ask your mechanic about the quality of Ford engines, or rather ask yourself if MS Windows was only available on MS made computer, who would hack it to run on third party hardware? Here is a company that takes Ford cars and installs Porsche engines (as well as a few other enhancements).

Re:They still don't get it
Technically, the 500hp Mustang isn't built by Ford (that's the Saleen S281 Extreme), but that's only a small issue (and not my point).
Ford has been a competitor in the mid-size market for a few years now with its CD3 Platform. I own a Mazda6 and wouldn't trade it for any Camry or Accord (they make me want to yawn). The other CD3 sedans (the Ford Fusion, the Mercury Milan, and the Lincoln MKZ) I'd reason are pretty good too since they're built with the same parts.

Re:upside down car
Supposedly, so does the Saleen S7. The undercarriage of the car is designed to raise downforce the faster the car goes, so theoretically, if the car goes fast enough it can be driven upside-down. If I recall, 180mph is the magic number.

Re:If i had that many spares...
Insane as it is, McLaren F1s go for a over $1M at auction, $680,000 ain't gonna cut it. However, you can get a not too shabby Saleen S7 that easily does over 200MPH (top speed not listed) for that kinda dough!

Overall height of 41"
0-60 in under 4 seconds (don't list a specific 3.whatever)
Top speed over 200mph -
There's one in the Saleen S7
The S7 is street legal and has a live video rear view mirror. It shouldn't be too hard to see how they did it. It might be expensive though -- the car costs $375,000.
