Re:Crap!
Roms? Why not fish out your originals? I can't stand playing on a keyboard honestly, and I can't justify the 26 bones it costs to buy this, so I just stick to my old NES. Somehow I managed to take care of it and my games, so I haven't had to blow into my old cartriges yet. But seriously, I'd gladly pay $5, $10 on eBay for the actual game. Much better experience, if you ask me.

Re:Reccomendation
Or if you have the cash to burn, buy:
1. A SNES to USB adapter.
2. A premodded USB SNES controller (basically a SNES controller that's been gutted and replaced with new hardware to make it a USB controller). -
Re:Emulation is NOT the same thing
The Gamepad Pro is a playstation 1 clone that is USB. Or you could use a SNES controller that is hacked to use USB like this one.

8-bit Nintendo Controller Hacks> Any other cool or interesting retro analog devices?
I ran across this not to long ago. I haven't bothered to pick one up yet, but an 8-bit Nintendo (as well as other classic console systems) conroller was hacked to give it a USB cord - supposedly works with any emulator you can download freely: RetroPad
This has the dual purpose of feeding my retro need for some classic gaming of my youth, and the modern addiction to free software.

Pre-modded pads
Can be bought here, among other places. Slightly expensive, but I suppose it might be worth it to some people that don't want to do the work themselves.
I don't work for the linked site, nor have I bought any of their products yet, though, so I can't speak to the quality. -
retro-USB gamepads
So basically, don't throw away the real thing just yet. Emulation will be the future for classic console gaming, but until emulation accuracy improves and quality retro-like USB gamepads are produced... you are better off playing on a real SNES or NES.
You were looking for this http://sealiecomputing.com/retrozone/ perhaps?

Re:Sega Genesis
RetroZone has had NES, SNES, Genesis, and Atari USB controllers and adapters for a while. Cheaper prices too.

this has been done before: nes to usb too!
check out retrozone they sell mod'ed original joysticks that have been "converted" (liberated?) to USB interfaces.
They do NES, SNES, atari and more... You can send your controller to them and they'll usb-afy it. *shrug*
