Re:He's been suit-happy the past few years
Well, the only reason that I assert that the want to run the state is because he's running for governor
(above is not intended as political endorsement, just backing myself up :) ) -
The people have spoken: parasite /.'dAs of 12/1 10:30am ET, http://www.priceritephoto.com appears to be a little too busy to take Christmas orders.
It will be intersting to see if Elliot Spitzer goes after this kind of scum like he did Wall Street.

Re:Looks like they crossed the threshold...
Why would he do that? There's no need any more. He's already established his credentials as a Bold Leader(tm) who isn't afraid to take on Special Interests(tm) and protect the Little Guy(tm). Any further mega-cases would only waste time that he would rather spend campaigning. </cynical>

Spitzer's on a serious power trip
.. given that he's also pressuring vendors like EBay not to sell stun guns and Tasers to people living in the Empire State - see http://www.engadget.com/entry/1234000570062864/. You have to wonder what he's trying to accomplish, banning non-lethal weapons and closing down fantasy chatrooms - see http://www.breitbart.com/news/2005/10/12/D8D6IBDO
0 .html. Are there no more pressing matters demanding a state AG's attention? Oh, right - there's re-election. http://www.spitzer2006.com/ That trumps all other issues.. -
Re:NY AG>My big question is this
... when is New York state Attorney General Eliot Spitzer running for a bigger office? Is this a rhetorical question? It's not exactly a secret that he's running for governor: See his announcement.

Re:So who will win the PR war
No speculation in New York, it's a done deal

Re:At last...If you like to have politicians go after spyware and malware, why not toss $20 into his campaign? Just make sure that you read this part:
By making this contribution I am notifying Spitzer 2006 that to the best of my knowledge neither I nor any corporation which I own or currently control has any matter presently pending with the New York State Attorney General's office.
Sorry, Intermix your money isn't welcome. -
Re:TRUE American? Not Hardly
Damn that Jewey bastard for trying to combat (hah!) gun violence that causes the death of over 30,000 people a year! Fortunately, gun totin' whackos have a pretty good bead on our elected officials, otherwise some sane legislation that both protects people's right to own weapons (you know, as part of a well-regulated militia) and keeps guns out of the hands of dealers that sell semi-automatic weapons out of the back of their truck to anyone may have been passed at some point.
I suggest you find out what other Horrible Acts he has perpretrated! Truly, he is the worst of the worst. -

Good guy: NY Attorney General Eliot Spitzer
Eliot Spitzer does a lot of good internet work, like suing spammers and enforcing privacy rights, and today he will announce a settlement with five major music labels to force them to pay illegally-withheld royalties to musicians. He's got my vote when he runs for governor.
