It's a program that security sites that produce custom hosts file data host for me in fact ( http://hosts-file.net/?s=Download & http://hostsfile.org/hosts.html ) Whose administrators @ malwarebytes have VERIFIED as safe/good code!

Per my subject-line above: IT ONLY TAKES A MINUTE, many times less, if you skip the optional "Convert & Filter" + only draw new data from sites that actually DID update (& IF you have a FAST network connection, like FIOS!)... no point in drawing in data you already have!
MOST times, it's LESS than 1 minute in fact(Depending on the SIZE of the new data, and if it is needed - you don't NEED to draw data from hosts files' makers sites if they're NOT updated!) and, most of the time? The data is PERFECT from them too!
(That is, unless they alter their site, because a couple of them demanded I do "screen scrapes" instead of file draws/downloads - the latter, never change in structure - the former could, but I have not seen that ever, in 9++ yrs. of running this program here - I take NO chances though, & as I said before to you? I ELIMINATE THAT UNCERTAINTY, simply by putting in the optional "convert & filter" button stage of the 2nd tab titled "Normalize ->"!)
This FACT ALONE blows away your "Big O" bullshit you *tried* to throw @ me, you amateur...
However/Again: I only guarantee absolute PERFECT DATA when & IF you run that optional step (not always needed though - you only need that on daily intakes of NEW data and not always either on files already in the correct format - not full merges with older hosts data you have, since you would have sanitized all new data, first, building it into your "merged final"... doing that, the old data is sanitized already, & the new data gets it right off the bat...)
Still - I recommend, highly, performing that step on NEW data drawn in (though many times, it's NOT needed @ all), because as I said before to you? "Data Perfection, REIGNS!" Especially with file based data... period!

Per my subject-line above: IT ONLY TAKES A MINUTE, many times less, if you skip the optional "Convert & Filter" + only draw new data from sites that actually DID update (& IF you have a FAST network connection, like FIOS!)... no point in drawing in data you already have!
MOST times, it's LESS than 1 minute in fact (depending on the SIZE of the new data, and if it is needed - you don't NEED to draw data from hosts files' makers sites if they're NOT updated!) and, most of the time? The data is PERFECT from them too!
(That is, unless they alter their site, because a couple of them demanded I do "screen scrapes" instead of file draws/downloads - the latter, never change in structure - the former could, but I have not seen that ever, in 9++ yrs. of running this program here - I take NO chances though, & as I said before to you? I ELIMINATE THAT UNCERTAINTY, simply by putting in the optional "convert & filter" button stage of the 2nd tab titled "Normalize ->"!)
This FACT ALONE blows away your "Big O" bullshit you *tried* to throw @ me, you amateur...
However/Again: I only guarantee absolute PERFECT DATA when & IF you run that optional step (not always needed though - you only need that on daily intakes of NEW data and not always either on files already in the correct format - not full merges with older hosts data you have, since you would have sanitized all new data, first, building it into your "merged final"... doing that, the old data is sanitized already, & the new data gets it right off the bat...)
Still - I recommend, highly, performing that step on NEW data drawn in (though many times, it's NOT needed @ all), because as I said before to you? "Data Perfection, REIGNS!" Especially with file based data... period!

INSTALLATION:
a.) Extract its sfx installer file from the zipfile
b.) Run the installer from inside ANY folder you like, extracting the executables + datafiles to any folder you wish (usually one you create for it, doesn't matter where, but you MUST run it as administrator for FULL functionality (simple & the "read me" tab shows how easy THAT is to do))
c.) Then, & lastly - Run either the 32-bit OR 64-bit version (rightclick on the executable & set it to run as Administrator, OR, make a shortcut that can for FULL functionality (like write-protecting the hosts file, & more...))---
