Starwars Galaxies
There are still 'pirate' servers of the discontinued Starwars Galaxies MMO. Unlike the present 'The Old Republic' MMO which is entirely combat and story focused, the old one was totally free form, i.e. you could choose professions and create and trade items without getting into any PvP/PvE.
Now that The Mouse is in charge, expect them to also get shut down like this. -
Re:Good luck
Star Wars: The Old Republic. Had some real growing pains at launch, but has grown into itself quite nicely.
Have a referral link and give it a try.

Re:Whats the purpose of this
AFAIK SW:TOR requires admin or you jumping through hoops to not use admin: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=503015
Someone who played swtor stayed over at my place for a few weeks and my guest computer had to be "compromised" so that swtor could run.
Maybe they've changed it in recent times.

Re:But can we sue them?
Apparently no, it does not require the Origin client: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=8488436#edit8488436
However, it does require an Origin account: http://www.swtor.com/info/faq#170974 -

Re:Meh.
I was looking over the classes and they basically named one Tank.
http://www.swtor.com/info/holonet/classes/sith-warriorSith who train in the stalwart arts of the Juggernaut boast unrivaled stamina in battle. Through diligence and clarity, the Juggernaut shapes the Force to his will to become nearly invulnerable. Damage that would destroy others is shrugged off, and futility fills the Juggernaut's foes with doubt and despair. Protecting their allies and punishing their adversaries, they charge into the thick of any fray, and take the brunt of the assault and are even able to drain the energy of their enemies to further strengthen their resolve

Re:Obviously evil.
Darth Zynga
That is so going to be the name of my first sith charcter on Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Re:A what?
The Old Republic is what you'd be looking for (some time in the future). There's plenty of sci-fi MMO's out there. Even NCSoft had Tabula Rasa for a while. The quality of sci-fi MMO's is usually not too good. I have hope for the Old Republic.
