Offtopic rant"Did your Slashdot submission get declined? theGEEK will take it!"
(rant)
Are you a hairy-backed, dateless freak who's submission was declined by Slashdot? Is your life so empty that your day will not be complete until you are acknowledged as one of thousands of geeks who saw the same article as you? Don't mind posting on some other wannabe copycat lame-ass geek news site? the GEEK wants your story!
(/rant)Sorry. Had to be done.

Try http://thegeek.org/.

Or you could...
...personally jam all GPS communication (among other things) for about $7500...
Great fun if you live out the sticks and want to sell a lot of maps... -
Re:I've given up"Ah well, what can you do though, really?"
Well, there's... http://www.kuro5hin.org/ where they let readers vote for which submitted stories should reach the front page, and then there's http://theGEEK.org/ which is also pretty cool.
Don't get me wrong, I love Slashdot. When I want to read news, I come to
/. but when I want to write news, I got to theGEEK or kuro5in. -
Not real clustering...
This is basically comercialisation of the Linux Virtual Server Project... it's a load balancer - much like Cisco's LocalDirector...
Now if you want real clustering, help with the Linux High-Availability Howto or go look at HP/UX's MC/ServiceGuard - or if you are forced to play with toys, MS makes NT Enterprise...

I heard that it was going to be Rick(y) Schroeder.
Here is a picture of what Rick(y) would look like as Darth...

Everybody and their brother...
Yeah, everyone has a site these days... and that can be a good thing... (Heck even I have a site that has some Linux content.)
But think about how many sites there are out there dedicated to MS products... yuck. Can you imagine being a borg groupie?
