    I was there, too. The coolest it got was approximately -242 degrees C; the warmest was approximately -218 degreesC, at least while I was watching.

    The party was the XtremeSystems.org party at its LV headquarters, and it was sponsored primarily by AMD, DFI, Gigabyte, Cooler Master, and Thermaltake. It seems to me that Commodore had a presence there, too.

    I've had very good luck so far with QNAP NAS devices, and I've messed with a Synology that I liked, but could have been better. The interface on the latter is better than the former, but the former has more features and an active user community.

    I'd avoid Buffalo NAS unless you go high-end (Samba-only on the low end).

    (Full disclosure: I'm a contractor for QNAP, but only because I liked their product and offered to improve it after I had already integrated it into my network.)

    There's a lot of fugly ladyboys in there, for sure. However, I am starting to overrate Sharp for some reason.

    Urgh, now that I've actually looked through them, I'd prefer a -1, Skankathon. I dunno - some of them are quite tasty.. this one is quite attractive.

    But man - the one on the left looks like Richard Kiel in drag!

    I think folks underestimate how striking completely transparent PC cases can look, or cases made from Lego bricks.


    But then again, last time I brought this up, I was modded 'flamebait', :(

    Y'all don't think that a rack-mount sequencer style PC (or console) case, together with rack-mount Hi-Fi (and other accessory) units would look the dog's nads?
