Could be nice
If properly tuned... that is

Economy is farked
I think it is high time the financial/economy sector gets a complete reboot.
Get rid of all these legal money laundering schemes. Because it is all they are, these financial transactions are just massaging money to dilute it, or concentrate it, out of the sights of most people.

Another advert?
Is this another advert for that overhyped game?
Seriously this game is nothing new. Yes it is addictive but so are all the trajectory games made before it.
Also the music and sound effects is a bloody outrage, so extremely repetitive.

Re:This a re-org for the foreign offices only
Of course not, being a righteous prick is what i live for
:D -
Is this not another sign
of digital slaves ?
Companies have been working hard to have work done for them for free.
Facebook is a good example, the users do all the work, facebook reaps the profits...
When will people realize that things are moving towards them becoming cheap or free labor for big corporations ?
This post in itself could very well be considered to increase the value of Geeknet Inc... but i'll make nothing of it
:D

Re:Just a game
Of course...
You'd be daft to think otherwise. -
Justice for all huh?
So this is what it all comes down to ?
The "greatest" country in the world found to be run based on the tantrums of an elite few ?
Who would have thought...
If the elite doesn't like you, it doesn't matter what the judge say, they'll get rid of you anyway.
It seems more and more obvious that the Ameritards are simply bullies who like to boss people around.
Europe and Asia should really cut relations with them soon because no matter what they'll be always the school's bully.
Can we please free ourselves from the american-spread misconception that they are the best ? Can we please stop handing them over whatever they like ? Can we please stop bending over backwards for them ?
We are only feeding their endless greed and tantrums by giving in to them. -
They stole my idea!
Believe it or not, the other day as I was showering I was picturing Steve Jobs arguing with Verizon on 4G service quality on the iPhone.

Re:DirectX who?
Of course you do not get nearly as much performance, D3D on Wine is a wrapper around OpenGL, if D3D would be Linux native this wouldn't be an issue.
However the speed of OpenGL compensates some of the losses introduced during the D3D calls translation process.
Again, I don't know why you have to be such a MS fanboy, and also why MS has to be such a cock and simply not give up on D3D and promote OpenGL, they are only hurting developers in the long run (by decreasing code portability)...

Re:DirectX who?
I can use DirectX very well in Wine, thank you for bringing it up

Enough of this shit
Are they bandwidth providers (because at the end of the day this is the job description of any ISP/Mobile provider) or NOT?
They have to make up their minds, they can't keep selling stuff they can't deliver, it is called "false advertising" and leads to enormous fines and possibly jail time where I live.

Re:DirectX who?
Who said I didn't work ON DirectX *cough*...
My point is exactly that: Direct3D is deficient in everything EXCEPT games. OpenGL is effecient for everything INCLUDING games.
The market as you call it is just Microsoft pushing dollars to software and hardware people to convince them to push for DirectX while in fact it would be in their own best interest to pay more attention to OpenGL, you know cross-platform and everything.
The market for DirectX is kids drinking MS koolaid
The market for OpenGL is anyone with a brain
Goodnight sir, enjoy your MS (free market, rofl) delusions.

As if you can find out with your flimsy technology, human!

Re:But that makes sense anyway.
Certainly you do not imply that the hospital is sending my x-rays/scans/MRIs to some Indian for analysis?
I doubt you are because AFAIKhospitals in my country keep all their imaging traffic strictly between doctors of the same hospital and only with permission from the patient can it ever leave their network.
I have always seen in person, in the flesh, the radiologist doing my MRIs/scans/x-rays (and i have had many many in various hospitals in my country) to discuss the results within minutes of putting my clothes back on.

Re:DirectX who?
Oh really? I work in graphics programming (notably OpenGL-based) and have done so for about 15 years now.
Don't dare tell me that the DirectX "consumer" crowd isn't just kids playing their Xbox and watchig HD pr0ns and hollywood blockbusters on their Windows Media Center ?
Yeah I am sure their technical requirements must just beyond imagination and only DirectX can pull it off!--

Re:Well
And the LHC will eventually leave higgs to the SLHC which will still be too flimsy to pull it off but physics lovers will masturbate to it nonetheless

Here is that word again
... Consumer.... sigh - http://www.twilightcampaign.net/index.php?topic=18.0
