I can see the Mastercard commercial now....
- Website development $20,000
- Promotional costs $100,000
- Hack to get Linux on Xbox $200,000
- Hosting WeHaveTheWayIn on Microsoft hardware while simultaneously costing Microsoft money.. priceless

I switched!I found the way out!
What was ASP is now Perl.(look at the link before you click, then look at the address bar after you arrive). What was SQL Server is now MySQL. And what was IIS is now Apache.
I'm sleeping much better these days now that I don't have to scramble every week there is another hideous security flaw announced. Not to mention they(MS) recently stated if they opened their source, even worse flaws would be revealed.
As the new Rush song(Secret Touch) says, "The way out is the way in". -
12-step program for a Microsoft-free shopWe Have The Way In, in the GNU/Linux section, features a link to a 12-step program for a Microsoft-free shop, by Scott Berinato, from the January 1 2002 issue of CIO Magazine.
It's a very thorough overview of all the major steps (technical, mental, emotional, you name it) that an office must pass through in order to successfully dump Microsoft. It'll be very helpful to your cause.

walk with us
Come ye all, follow the cult of the solar devil whose 8th incarnation is in the peak and the ninth will be born soon. Let us close all windows to god and block the ways out coz in our world you can only go in

They're just begging for a parody...
Something that looks like the M$ page, except it would describe how easy it is to take the donated computers, ditch the OS, and install Linux.
I'm still laughing about www.wehavethewayin.com, although it's only half as funny as the site it emulates www.wehavethewayout.com -
Re:Luring out of 'real' UNIX
I thought I'd throw a little off-topic note in here about The Way In. Is it just me, or do advertising campaigns that start with " Don't believe the hype! " and " Do not believe the articles; they are not trustworthy " do more harm than good?

Re:impressive chutzpah or bad math?
How do we publicize this rebuttal? http://www.wehavethewayin.com?
I'm tired of the Microcrap way of doing PR business. It's mis-information, and their bluff should be called. We need a good, respectable venue that people will look to, to get the facts... -
Re:64-bit life?
It'd be interesting if somebody put together a website touting the benefits of Unix over MS in response to it. I'd hate MS to win by default because Unix isn't getting enough publicity.
There is allready a website like that, it has the appropriate name wehavethewayin.com. Contrary to IIS it has proven to be rock-solid up to now. -

Not much happening today? Not much happening today?!
This story is hilarious... I half expected to see it posted so we could get in our usual Microsoft bashing in for the day...
As I write this, they still don't have that wehavethewayout.com web site working yet.
Also, be sure to check out wehavethewayin.com site....

OpenVMS...
Why the hell did they put OpenVMS on the list of commercial Unix systems??
