Re:So now under Trump...
intolerant? You mean intolerant like the recent riot and arson by students at UC Berkeley because someone with a different opinion was threatening to use WORDS at a public speech?
Or do you mean intolerant like when a trump supporter was knocked unconscious and beaten at an airport in Portland?
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/new...Or do you mean intolerant like when a gay guy in texas was minding his own business and beaten unconscious? his only crime, having a lighter with donald trumps picture on it
http://www.thegatewaypundit.co...Or do you mean intolerant when a hispanic trump supporter was beaten on inaugration day?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?...Or do you mean intolerant like during the campaign thousands of Hillary supporters violently attacked and destroyed property belonging to trump supporters?

http://www.dailywire.com/news/...Do yourself a favor and read up on the history of the rise of the S.S. you seem to like to throw the word Nazi and fascist around. The SS or SchutzStaffel were 'bodyguards' who went around attacking other candidates and their supporters of opposing political parties. I only see violent protests showing up repeatedly in the news coming from the Hillary group, and this predated even the run-up to the election. To violently attack, condone violent attacks, or looking the other was of said violent attacks, merely because you disagree with the opinions or WORDS that another person says is the same thing the SS did. Perhaps you are calling people Nazis and Intolerant because you suffer the psychological condition called PROJECTION.

Re:Is anyone surprised?
Yep. And as things de-leverage more, the banks need more capital on hand to keep the balance sheets happy - ergo no lending. What's really screwy is that profitable auto dealerships are being denied loans with no reviews at all http://www.wtnh.com/dpp/news/news_wtnh_madison_auto_bank_issue_200903192331_rev1

Re:The case probably has merit.
I would deeply like to read the testimony of the so-called expert, Mark Lounsbury, so I could see his exact wording, because that does indeed sound like an extraordinarily dumb thing for an expert to say. But then I have to keep in mind that, to most people, an expert is any man who can tell them that they should use one or more security features on their wireless router.
I tried googling Lounsbury for anything interesting, hoping to find other instances of dumb technical advice, but all I got was him drinking and driving while undercover, while his coworker photographed nude drunk women. (http://www.wtnh.com/Global/story.asp?S=594152) Of course, neither of these is as damaging to the public interest as allowing minors and nipples in the same room. -
Of course it may not matter if you DO get through
... if you get a dispatcher like this one...

Re:The little website that could....
And to a Slashbot, it's hysterical
Like At no time did the US lend support to him, or his organization is hysterical?
Like this picture of Saddam Hussein shaking hands with Donald Rumsfeld.
Or maybe this article in the Dallas Morning News of all places: Saddam Hussein: former ally, future defendant
Or this story printed in California, Mossouri, Oklahoma, and Conneticut.
I know this is offtopic but the other discussion is archived.
PS: I can prove Clinton never cheated with Monica. A google search for "Clinton cheated on his wife by getting a bj" turns up zilch. -
Re: Spelling error, but Faux News truly misleadsAnd what does this tell us? That on the topics of Iraq and al Quaeda, Fox News is presenting biased coverage. The study doesn't provide any evidence that other news sources are any less biased--just that they get it right on the Iraq war, and Fox doesn't. It doesn't address the question of general bias.
You said:
Isn't that amazing? The more you read the paper, or watch CNN, the better informed you are. But the more you watch Faux News, the more likely you are to be misled!!
Wrong! Just on the Iraq war. I would like to see this study expanded to other controversial and/or polarizing issues, and see how everyone fairs. They could examine Iraqi public opinion (are people aware of this Gallup poll?), gun control (people still think AK-47s have something to do with assault weapons bans), the 2000 presidential election (we might have trouble agreeing on what constitutes a misperception), any of Bush's economic packages, the Patriot Act, the treatment of captured Afghanis and suspected terrorists, you name it. That would go a lot farther to telling us whether Fox is more biased, or just differently biased. -
Re:Isn't this America?
" Yes, but from that point they have a short period of time to bring you to a judge where they must convince him why they want to keep you."
I'm certain that's a comforting thought to Jose Padilla who's been imprisoned since May without a trial, access to a lawyer, a telephone call, or one moment without bright lights shining down on him. Yes, the man has to learn how to sleep with the lights on in his tiny cell in a military brig. Anyone who's read 1984 will recognize the rooms with the brights always on with no windows as belonging to the Ministry of Love. I've got news for you; our rights have been eroding for some time, and Sept 11 gave the resident president all the power he needed to bring about a landslide. I hope to God there's a major backlash and soon, or there won't be much left of this country for our children. They'll have to read about it in books, so long as the books they're reading don't make the government suspicious. Perhaps my children will one day turn me in to the FBI for being unamerican.
