Matrix Sequel Delayed to 2003

moojin was among the countless slashdot readers who noted that scifi (No I am Sci-Fi dammit) has reported that the 'Matrix Reloaded' will be delayed until the summer 2003. I'm bummed, but I'm willing to wait to see the Brothers W do it right (no way I'm gonna try to spell that name ;)

    The Matrix stank.

    More holes than a pre-SMT circuit board.

    Keanu is a waste of envy.

    Laurence Fishburn was just plain wasted as Morpheus.

    The only remotely interesting thing in it was people running on walls exploding with gunfire.

    But it's plain from the total lack of an ending that they plan decades of sequels, and if it doesn't devolve into Police Academy or a geeky Halloween, I'll be mighty surprised.

    Understand, this is the movie Wesley Crusher would have called "his".

    The longer they wait to repeat that disaster the better.

    because the original was so fucking bad. Bad script. Laughable acting. Boring, predictable story. The only reason I didn't walk out of this movie is because some friends had driven me to it. Look, juts because you're a geek, doesn't mean you also have to be a brain dead idiot. Think for yourself. Watch this movie. Don't just parrot what people tell you.

    They probably chopped Keanu's head off by accident.

    Still, it seems a bit excessive with a 6 month delay just to glue a replacement grapefruit on there. His facial expressions were pretty non-existant to begin with so who's really gonna notice.
